There are three main types of templates used at Jackcentric:

• Boilerplates - Boilerplate templates provide short standardized content that should be identical on all pages where it appears, such as the trigger warnings that may appear on some story pages.

• Infoboxes - Infoboxes are the colored boxes that appear on fanwork pages and summarize the most important information. All fanwork pages should have one and only one infobox.

• Navboxes - Navigation boxes are a way to highlight important links to other pages in the wiki. Currently, they're only planned for navigation between series and story pages.

Templates are included in a regular page by including the code {{Name of the Template}} somewhere in the text of the new page. You can use the {{Template:Experiment}} below to practice working with templates -- try including the template code in your user page or the Sandbox.
