The general manager of Dynasty decided to have a tournament to decided the new No. 1 Contenders to The Hooper's WIW Unified Tag Team Championships at the October pay-per-view Devil's Playground. The tournament started on the October 3, 2012 episode of Dynasty and will end on the October 24, 2012 of Dynasty

[edit] World Championship Tournaments (2013)

On the January 2, 2013 episode of Dynasty the tournament for the WIW Championship will take place, as on the January 5, 2013 episode of Turbo the tournament for the World Heavyweight Championship will take place. On January 2 a rule was made that if you won by disqualification in the final match for the World Heavyweight or WIW Championship the winner would become the Champion.

During the 2016 WIW draft, WIW World Champion, Kevin McAlmond was drafted to Rage, making the WIW World Championship exclusively to the Rage brand. On the July 29 episode of ShowDown, Dixie Finnegan announced that a tournament was going to decide the first-WIW Heavyweight Championship and the champion would be crowned at SummerBash.

The tournament began on the July 29 episode of ShowDown.
