Saturday Night's Main Event (2009) was a efed pay-per-view produced by the Global Wrestling Federation. It was held in the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. It was also the third annual GWF Saturday Night Main Event.

The main rivalry for Saturday Night's Main Event is for the GWF World Heavyweight Championship with the current GWF World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Jarrett (accompanied by his wife Karen Jarrett) defending against the #1 Contender to the World Title, CM Punk (accompanied by Luke Gallows). The feud started at WrestleMania X-Three where Jarrett would defend Punk to win the GWF Intercontinental Championship and retain his GWF World Heavyweight Championship. On the April 4, 2012 episode of Raw Jarrett defended the Intercontinental Championship against John Cena, Jarrett would go on to defeated Cena to retain the title, However after the match, Punk would come out and attack Jeff Jarrett. On the April 11, 2012 episode of Raw Jarrett would defend the Intercontinental Championship for the second week in a row, This time against Buff Bagwell, Bagwell was able to defeat Jarrett to become the new Intercontinental Champion due to interference from CM Punk.
Another rivalry for Saturday Night's Main Event is for the GWF Women's Championship with the current Champion Daffney defending the Women's Championship against the former Women's Champion Ms. Brooks. At Chaos Theory Ms. Brooks defeated then-Champion Rain to become the new GWF Women's Champion. At WrestleMania X-Three Daffney defeated Ms. Brooks to become Women's Champion. The two are set to face off at Saturday Night's Main Event.
The next match that was scheduled for the event was for the GWF Cruiserweight Championship with the current Champion Rey Mysterio defending the Cruiserweight Championship against former Champion Tyler Black. At WrestleMania X-Three Mysterio defeated Black to win the Cruiserweight Championship. On the April 11, 2012 episode Mysterio defended the Cruiserweight Championship against Tyler Black the match would end by Double-Countout. That night Black would challenge Mysterio to another match at Saturday Night's Main Event.
The next match is a Manager versus Manager match with 5-Star Soaring Eagles Manager's Bill Alfonso (also RVD's manager) and Vickie Guerrero (also Swagger's manager) with the winner becoming full time Manager skills of the 5-Star Soaring Eagles.
Another match scheduled for the event is for the GWF Tag Team Championship as Better Than You (Chris Jericho and Buff Bagwell) defends the Tag Team Championships against #1 Contender's, 5-Star Soaring Eagles (RVD and Jack Swagger). Swagger and RVD became the number one contender's to the Tag Team Championships by defeated Insane Clown Posse and Black Style to get the match for the Tag Team Championship.
