SuperBrawl VIII will be the eighth annual SuperBrawl professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by WIW. It will take place on April 3, 2016 at WIW's biggest arena the Helena Civic Center in Helena, Montana.

SuperBrawl will feature professional wrestling matches that involved wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds or storylines that play out on WIW's primary television programs, Rage and ShowDown. Wrestlers will portray heroes or villains as they follow a series of events that build tension and culminate in a wrestling match or series matches.

At World War, Martin McAlmond defeated Kyler Noel, Richard West-Eaton and Jeff Radke in a Fatal four way match to retain the WIW World Heavyweight Championship, later on in the night Daniel Mazurek won the World War Rumble match for a WIW World Heavyweight Championship shot at SuperBrawl. At Free Falling, Kevin McAlmond defeated Matt Borske and Chris LeGreca in a Triple threat match to be added to the WIW World Heavyweight Championship at the event.

On the February 23 episode of Rage, John Lehr challenged Rex Martin to a match at SuperBrawl with the stipulation being if Lehr wins, he gains half control of Rage, Martin accepted the challenge making it a Hell in a Cell match as well.

At Free Falling, Chris LaGreca had Kevin McAlmond in a Sharpshooter submission hold until Matt Borske attacked LeGreca with a steel chair, effectively costing him the match. On the February 23 episode of Rage, LeGreca attacked Borske outside the Helena Civic Center. Later that evening, LeGreca's wife Beatrice LaGreca issued a challenge on Chris' behalf to Borske at SuperBrawl for the MWA World Championship, Borkse returned to the show attacking LaGreca and challenged LaGreca to a Street Fight at the event for the title, which LaGreca accepted.

After Ashley Holshue defeated Brandi Cusker to retain the WIW Divas Championship, controversially at World War, Holshue was ambushed by Emily Marie. At Free Falling, Holshue retained the WIW Divas Championship against Brittany Oliphant, while Marie and Cusker defeated Team Beautiful (Jessica McCurry and Brianna Fisher). On the February 23, 2016 episode of Rage, Holshue informed Cusker and Marie that one of the two would face her at SuperBrawl for the title. On the March 1 episode of Rage, Cusker fought Marie to a draw. A rematch was made on the following episode of ShowDown ended in a no contest when Holshue attacked both Cusker and Marie, it was soon announced that Holshue would defend her title against both Cusker and Marie in a triple threat match at SuperBrawl, it was announced later that week that the match would be elimination.

On March 15, it was announced that third annual Brian McAlmond Memorial Battle Royal would take place at SuperBrawl. As per tradition, the winner will receive the Brian McAlmond Memorial Trophy.

On the March 15 episode of Rage, during a confrontation between former WIW Tag Team Champions The Hoopers (Matt Hooper and Josh Hooper) and former World Tag Team Champions The Erickson Brothers (Josh Erickson and Tyler Erickson), a match was announced between the two teams, however later that night Rex Martin announced that the match between the two teams would take place at a later date, making the match a Open elimination tag team match for a shot at the WIW Tag Team Championship, announcing that The Bad Boys (Bob Thennis and Chris Riley), The Nuss Crew (Zack Nuss and Josh Nuss), The Wilkins (Bo Wilkins and Jackson Wilkins)and Josiah Edigar and Darin Woehl would join the match as well. On the March 18 episode of ShowDown, The Authority of Wrestling (Ryan Borske and Tyler Erickson) and The Sons (Jax Teller and Chibs Telford) announced their participation in the match.

On the March 15 episode of Rage, James Allred challenged Cam Dana to a match for the WIW United Nations Championship. On March 18 episode of ShowDown, after James Allred and Cam Dana defeated Charlie Lynch and Paul Rinehart, Dana accepted Allred's challenge at SuperBrawl.

On the March 22 episode of Rage, Charlie Lynch, Paul Rinehart, Sam Watnem and James Lyman confronted WIW International Champion Ryan Barnhart and challenged him for the title. Barnhart agreed to the challenges and talked to Glennda McAlmond, which she agreed as well as added two more challengers Mark Semmler and Colby Hurt to the match making it a in a Ladder match for the title. on the July 23 episode of MWA TV, Mikhail Schmalzried that he was going to take part in the match at the event.

Since World War, Kevin Hunter has targeted members of the Authority of Wrestling. At Free Falling, Hunter defeated Ryan Borske. At Apocalypse, Hunter defeated Michael Soto. On the March 26 episode of ShowDown, James Masterson attempted to attack Hunter only to be attacked by Hunter's former tag team partner, KJ Styles, Hunter announced that would face Masterson in a second match at the event, and it will be held inside of a Steel Cage at the SuperBrawl event.
