Extreme Rules (2015) is an upcoming professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by IWE. It will take place on April 26, 2015 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. It will be the seventh event under the Extreme Rules chronology.

Background

{{#invoke:see also|seealso}} Extreme Rules will feature professional wrestling matches that involved wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds, plots, and storylines that play out on IWE's primary television programs, Raw and SmackDown. Wrestlers will portray heroes or villains as they follow a series of events that build tension and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches.

At WrestleMania 31, Dustin Simpson defeated Rusev to win the IWE United States Championship, marking Rusev's first loss via pinfall. On the April 2 episode of SmackDown, Rusev invoked his rematch clause to face Simpson for the title at the event.. On the April 13 episode of Raw, Cena defeated Bad News Barrett and retained the United States Championship, Rusev added a stipulation to the match, and he attacked Simpson with a chain. This match now will be a Russian Chain match.

At WrestleMania 31, Kody Brown won the ladder match for the IWE Intercontinental Championship. On the March 30 episode of Raw, previous champion Bad News Barrett attacked Brown after Brown retained the title against Dolph Ziggler. On the April 2 episode of SmackDown, Barrett attacked Bryan during his match against Sheamus, causing Sheamus to win by countout. On the April 6 episode of Raw, Barrett invoked his rematch clause on the IWE App to face Brown for the title at the event.

At WrestleMania 31, Kevin Orton defeated Seth Rollins. Later in the event, Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract during the scheduled IWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Rob Lesnar and Roman Reigns and pinned Reigns to win the title. On the April 6 episode of Raw, Orton defeated Ryback and Reigns in a triple threat match to face Rollins for the title at the event. On the April 13 episode of RAW, Orton faced IWE Tag Team Champion Cesaro and Tyson Kidd in a 2 vs. 1 handicap match where if he lost he won't face Rollins for the IWE World Heavyweight Championship at Extreme Rules, but would choose the match type for the championship match if he won. Orton was able to win the handicap match and at the end of the show chose to face Rollins in a Steel cage match. However, Rollins made another stipulation for the match; Orton is banned from using his finisher the RKO during the match.

On the April 13 episode of Raw, Paige won a Batlle Royal and earned a Divas title match against Nikki Bella at the event. After the match Naomi turned on Paige and laid her down. Brie Bella was on Commentary and didn't compete in the Battle Royal.
