The New Legacy (also known as Legacy: Reborn) was an alliance in the professional wrestling promotion Global Wrestling Federation (GWF), that competed on its Raw brand from in 2010. Originally, The Legacy was a Tag team consisting of Ted Dibiase, Jr. and Cody Rhodes in 2010 they won the GWF Tag Team Championship, shortly after they were disbanded. In 2014 Randy Orton brought a "New" version of the Legacy consisting of CM Punk and rookie, Adrian Neville, known as the New Legacy. In 2014, Neville won the GWF Hardcore Championship bring it to the Legacy stable.

Formation

Tag Team: Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibaise (2010)
In 2010, Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase began teaming in GWF and setting their sights on the GWF World Tag Team Championship. On January 18, 2010 episode Raw is War, Rhodes and Dibaise defeated The Hart Foundation (Bret Hart and Teddy Hart to win the GWF World Tag Team Championship. On the February 15, 2010 episode of Raw is War, Rhodes and Dibaise lost the GWF World Tag Team Championship to Get On Our Level (The Miz and Johnny Nitro).
The New Legacy (2014-present)
On the August 18, 2014 episode of Raw is War, Randy Orton formed the New Legacy with Adrian Neville and CM Punk during a tag team match evolving Orton and Neville teaming to face Willow and CM Punk, in the end Punk turned on Willow allowing Orton to win, later that night Orton, Punk and Neville would interfere in a match between Snitsky and Finlay, and attack both Finlay and Snitsky, before ICP chased Neville and Punk to the back, Orton continued to brawl with Snitsky allowing Finlay to pin him. It would later be confirmed that with the acceptation of Orton versus Finlay for a shot at the GWF World Heavyweight Championship, Neville and Punk would team up to face the Insane Clown Posse in a tag team match. On the September 15, 2014 episode of Raw is Raw, Adrien Neville brought the first piece of gold to the stable when he defeated Willow to become the GWF Hardcore Championship. Neville would go on to lose the Hardcore Championship at Devil's Night. At Chaos Theory, Neville and Punk defeated Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns of the Shield to win the GWF Tag Team Championship, this is Punks third reign as Tag Team Champion and Neville's first reign. At WrestleMania, Neville and Punk will make their first title defense against the former Tag Team Champions, The Shield.

Return; addition of Curtis Axel (2015-present)
At the 2015 Tribute to the Troops special, Curtis Axel debuted in AEW and aided an attack on Chael Sonnen who Orton was feuding with at the time. At AEW 2: Gunner vs. Reigns, Axel aided Orton in defeating Sonnen.
