Ziggler returned to GWF teaming with Jeff Hardy to defeated Rusev and Kane in a tag team match. He was than announced to be partners with Dean Ambrose in the Tag Team Championship tournament, they defeated The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper and Erick Rowan) in first round. They defeated Goldust and Snitsky in the second round to advance to the final round at the Flatline for the Tag Team Championship, in which they lost. Later that night Ziggler defeated Roman Reigns to win the GWF Hardcore Championship.
