[edit] Background
Elimination Chamber features professional wrestling matches that involve different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds, plots, and storylines that played out on IWE's primary television programs. Wrestlers portrayed villains or heroes as they followed a series of events that built tension and culminated in a wrestling match or series of matches. All wrestlers are from IWE's Raw and SmackDown brands—a storyline division in which IWE employees are assigned to a television program of the same name.
The first match was announced on January 30, 2012 on IWE.com. The announcement stated the there will be a Raw Elimination Chamber match for the IWE Championship. In the match, Justin Eldridge will defend his championship against Nick Kessler, Khris Jericho, The Miz, B-Truth, and Jose Serrano. The second match was announced on February 2nd, 2012 that there will be a Smackdown Elimination Chamber match for the World Heavyweight Championship. In the match, Kody Brown will defend his championship against Kevin McAlmond, Mark Semmler, Daniel Gonzalez, Big Show, and The Great Khali. Originally, Steven Larson was a participant in the SmackDown Elimination Chamber, but he is removed from the contest and suspended indefinitely by SmackDown GM Theodore Long for threatening him. The Great Khali replaced him in the Chamber match. Kevin McAlmond was also originally a participant in the match, but suffered a concussion after World Heavyweight Champion Kody Brown hit him over the head with the title belt on the February 13, 2012 episode of Raw. His replacement would be Justin Black, who won a battle royal on the February 17, 2012 episode of SmackDown.
Dustin Simpson and Kane began feuding in December 2011, with Kane targeting Cena due to his T-shirt slogan, "Rise Above Hate." To play psychological games with Simpson, Kane began targeting Zack Nuss and his on-screen girlfriend, Nicole Bergman, attacking Nuss and cornering Eve in a variety of situations, all in an effort to make Simpson "embrace the hate." On February 6, an Ambulance Match stipulation was announced for the match between Kane and Simpson.
[edit] Event
Before the event aired live on pay-per-view, a dark match took place between Alex Riley and Hunico. Riley dominated the majority of the match, but was caught by the Falling Star, which led to Hunico getting the clean pinfall win.
The first match to air on pay-per-view was the Raw Elimination Chamber match between reigning champion Justin Eldridge, Nick Kessler, Khris Jericho, Jose Serrano, B-Truth and The Miz for the IWE Championship. Eldridge started off the match with Serrano. Eldridge dished out some punishing blows, sending Serrano into one of the pods headfirst and suplexing him on the metal floor of the chamber. Kessler was next in and went after Eldridge. Next was Truth, who quickly got eliminated by Eldridge. Next was Miz followed by Jericho, who won the right to enter last after winning a Six-Pack match on Raw. Jericho eliminated Kessler after a Codebreaker and made Serrano tap out to Walls of Jericho. Jericho was then knocked out after a roundhouse kick by Eldridge, leading to him falling out of the chamber (which had been opened to let Serrano out after he was eliminated) and being deemed unable to continue by the ringside trainers. Eldridge and Miz were the final two, after Eldridge kicked out of a skull crushing finale, Eldridge hit Miz with a G.T.S. to score the final fall and retain his championship.
Next was the Divas Championship match between reigning champion Chandra Denney and Tamina Snuka. After a back-and forth-contest, Snuka would hit Denney with a samoan drop to set up the Superfly Splash. Phoenix countered by superplexing Snuka from the top rope. Snuka then scored a superkick-Superfly Splash combination to Denney, leading to a close near-fall. Denney kicked out and hit Snuka with a Glam Slam to score the pinfall and retain her title.
Next was the SmackDown Elimination Chamber match between reigning champion Kody Brown, Big Show, The Great Khali, Mark Semmler, Daniel Gonzalez and Justin Black for the World Heavyweight Championship. Gonzalez and Show were the first two in the ring exchanging punches. Next out was Semmler who worked with Barrett for much of the match, attempting to slow down the Big Show. Next was Black who immediately got attacked by Show. Next was Khali, who got speared by Show straight away and pinned. Show climbed Brown's pod, ripping off the chains and attacking him. When Brown got out, Semmler and Gonzalez immediately attacked Show. After a DDT by Semmler and a driving elbow drop from Gonzalez, Semmler pinned and eliminated Show. After Semmler was eliminated by Black after a roll-up, Gonzalez was eliminated by Black, following a diving headbutt by Brown. The final two were Brown and Black, who scored a close near-fall after hitting Brown with The Cobra. Brown eventually recovered and made Black tap out to the LeBell Lock, retaining his championship. After the match Sheamus ran in and attacked Brown, in retaliation for Brown spitting on him on the previous episode of SmackDown. This indicated that Sheamus had selected to challenge Brown for the World Title at WrestleMania XXVIII, which Sheamus won the right to do after his 2012 Royal Rumble victory.
Next was an impromptu United States Championship match between Jeremiah Garcia (with Hornswoggle) and champion Charlie Wilson (with Lynn Lehr). Garcia gave Wilson an intense challenge but Wilson eventually applied the Ankle lock and made Garcia tap out.
The main event was the Ambulance Match between Dustin Simpson and Kane. They fought out of the ring for most of the match where Simpson attacked Kane repeatedly with the steel ring steps. As he attempted to give Kane an Attitude Adjustment off the ring steps through the announce table, Kane countered and chokeslammed Simpson through the table instead. With Simpson down, Kane placed him onto a gurney and loaded him into the ambulance. Before Kane could shut the door, though, Simpson fought his way out of the ambulance and took the fight to the top of the vehicle, where he finally finished off Kane with an Attitude Adjustment off the ambulance, through the stage. Simpson then loaded Kane into the ambulance to score the victory.
