Preliminary matches

They run at each other and each connect with clotheslines. Kane seemed to get more of it, as he is getting to his feet before Snitsky. He goes to cover Snitsky, but stops. He notices Abyss stepping out of the back. Abyss slowly staggers out to the ring. Kane covers Snitsky anyway. Snitsky kicks out at two. Kane immediately turns back to Abyss, who slides into the ring. The referee yells at Abyss to go away. Abyss vacantly stares at Kane. He turns and glances down at Snitsky, grabbing at his hair. The referee again yells at Abyss to leave. Kane suddenly lifts Abyss up into a chokeslam. Snitsky comes from behind and hits Kane across the back with a forearm. Kane stumbles forward. Abyss rolls out of the ring, but quickly rises to his feet, glancing over the ring apron. Snitsky hits Kane with another forearm across the back. Kane turns around to face Snitsky, somewhat groggy. Snitsky backs off the ropes and charges at Kane. Kane stops him in his tracks and hits a chokeslam. Kane covers Snitsky for the three count. Kane's music plays again. The referee goes to raise Kane's arm in the air, but Kane shoves him away. Abyss slides back into the ring and checks on Snitsky. Abyss turns to the referee and points down at Snitsky. The referee checks on Snitsky. Kane's backed into the ropes, nonchalantly grinning and laughing to himself. Abyss looks up and stares at Kane for a moment, gritting his teeth. Kane continues grinning, and rolls out of the ring. He heads to the back, backing up the ramp and looking on in the process. Abyss suddenly shoves the referee out of the way, lifts Snitsky up, and connects with the Black Hole Slam. The crowd boos. Abyss breathes heavily, turning to Kane. Kane, surprisingly, isn't laughing. He's half-grinning. This time, he does head to the back. Abyss stares down at Snitsky for a moment. He rolls out of the ring and follows Kane up the ramp.

Triple H steps over Jericho and drives it right into Jericho's gut as Y2J body convulses. As he picks Jericho up and rolls his limp body into the ring The Game tosses the sledgehammer in their as well. With a look of hatred and confidence Hunter enters the ring and grabs the weapon once again. As he picks it up and nears the badly beaten Jericho. Y2J comes to life and wildly kicks Triple H square in the groin. Dropping the sledgehammer while clutching at his injured testes Jericho scrambles to his feet and picks up the weapon himself. Swinging it forward Hunter tries to put his hands up but it is connected right to the forehead of The Game. Falling backwards and to the mat Jericho releases the weapon and falls to his knees taking a breath in. Slowly Jericho waits for The Game to make it to his feet while the ref starts to count. One...two...three...Hunter is hardly moving...Just then " Oh You Didn't Know " starts to play as Jericho looks around while Triple H is moving just a bit more...Four...five...Suddenly Billy Gunn rushes into the ring and goes for a swinging punch but Jericho ducks it and connects with a Codebreaker laying Gunn out. Six...seven the ref counts as Triple H reaches the ropes and starts to pull himself up as The Road Dogg slides in as Jericho stops at him. As he stands up Jericho kicks him directly in the crotch and flings him over the top rope. Eight...Nine...Triple H is just to his feet as the ref stops counting when all of a sudden " Sexy Boy " blasts forth and HBK rushes to the ring. His fists are taped up and their is a fire in his eyes as he slides into the ring. Jericho swings wildly at Shawn who quickly ducks a punch from the tired Jericho and connects with Sweet Chin Music. Mr. Perfect tries to enter the ring only to get Shawn's signature finisher right to his face as well. The reluctant ref was just about to start the count but Triple H is pulling the dead weight of Jericho to his feet. He sets him up and drops him hard to the mat with a vicious Pedigree. Jericho is completely out of it and the ref has no choice but to start the count. One...two...three...four...five...still no movement from Jericho. Six...seven...eight...nine...Y2J is barely moving...Ten...The ref signals for the bell and reluctantly hands the title over to The Game who rips it away from him. Triple H holds the title high to a chorus of boos with a bit of cheers as his music starts to play. Both him and Shawn are smiling as The Road Dogg joins in the celebration. Billy Gunn has made it to his feet as all four men exit the ring while Jericho is still out of it.

Lacey is the first other one stirring and Ms. Brooks is calling for her to get to her feet. Ms. Brooks runs at her when she does looking for the Brooks and Done but Lacey ducks. Unfortunately for Tenille she has just gotten up and is hit with the thunderous lariat. Ms. Brooks turns and gets drilled with the spinning wheel kick. Lacey gets on her for the cover. The referee's hand nearly hits the mat for the third time but Ms. Brooks is able to keep her title reign alive with a kick out. Lacey can't believe it and begins to plead with the referee nearly begging for him to give her the win. He doesn't oblige and she gets back to her feet. She shakes off everything that happened to her earlier and motions for the title to be around her waist. She lifts up the Women's Champion and has her by the head. She looks to put her away but Tenille is up and she drills Lacey with the Yakuza Kick. Both Lacey and Brooks fall to the ground. Tenille makes a cover on Lacey. As the referee's hand is coming down for the three Ms. Brooks yanks Tenille off the cover. Tayla's mouth drops but she doesn't have time to be upset now as Ms. Brooks lifts her up and hits a kneeling shoulder jawbreaker. She goes down and Ms. Brooks stumbles to the corner. She climbs out onto the apron and gets to her feet. Both Tenille and Lacey seem to be getting up at the same time. Ms. Brooks steady's herself and Tayla shoves Lacey toward Ms. Brooks. Ms. Brooks flips in the air hitting the Pie in the Sky on Lacey but manages to also land on her feet and spring forward when she touches it hitting the Brooks and Done lariat once more on Tayla knocking her out of the ring. Ms. Brooks then dives on Lacey for the cover. The referees hand hits once it then hits again. The crowd begins cheering as the referee's hand hits the mat for the third and final time. The roar of the crowd can be heard for miles as the referee signals for the bell. Ms. Brooks wipes the sweat from her face along with the hair as she gets to her feet. The referee is handed her title and he hands it to her and she celebrates with it for a bit in the ring. Lacey and Tenille head to the back unhappy with the results as the winner continues her celebration. She then looks at the title and all of the fans before setting it down in the center of the ring. She seems to be a bit teary eyed as she walks away from the title and the ring heading to the back.

Main event matches

Randy Orton, Eric Young & Scott Steiner celebrating with Kevin McDermott after defeating Team Kanyon.

He comes back looking for a knee to the face but Anderson is able to get out of the way in the nick of time. Anderson grabs Orton from behind by the head and hits an inverted suplex. Anderson takes a moment to try and compose himself before making a cover. Unfortunately he isn't even able to get a two count as Orton pops a shoulder off the canvas. Mr. Anderson lifts up his opponent but as he does Orton shoots up and lands an uppercut on Anderson. It rocks him back and Orton follows it up with a couple more backing him up to a corner. He climbs up on the middle turnbuckle and begins punching him in the head countless times. The crowd reaches nine and he stops and looks around before hitting the tenth. He jumps down and Anderson falls face first onto the mat. Randy shoots the half and makes a cover. Anderson gets his foot on the ropes before the three count. Randy gets back to his feet and lifts up Anderson. He sends him into the ropes and Orton drills him with a clothesline. Anderson is quick to hit feet but is met with another. This time when Ken gets to his feet he tries for a clothesline but Orton ducks shoving him into the ropes. He comes back and Randy hits a scoot powerslam. Orton then grabs him as he is getting up and hits an inverted headlock backbreaker. Randy makes a cover but Kanyon gets into the ring breaking up the three count before the match was over. The referee yells at him but he ignores him before getting out of the ring. Randy gets up and he tags in Eric Young. Young gets into the ring with a nice ovation from the crowd and lifts up Anderson. He sets him up and hits a suplex. Eric then climbs to the top rope before diving off looking for a leg drop but Anderson rolls out of the way. Eric holds his backside as Anderson rolls to his corner and manages to tag in DiBiase. Eric seems to have had enough and tags in Steiner after only briefly getting in the ring. McDermott comes over to see what’s up and he rubs his butt showing it hurts. Back in the ring Steiner and DiBiase lock up with Steiner getting the better of it muscling DiBiase to the ground. Steiner goes to flex but DiBiase is up and runs at him. It's a bit slow as Steiner has time to duck hitting a back body drop. DiBiase arches his back in a bit of pain as Steiner lifts him up and shoves him into the corner. He lifts him up on the top rope and peppers him with some right hands. He then climbs up with him looking for a move Steiner invented but DiBiase shoves him off the corner. Steiner slams onto the mat with a thud and DiBiase jumps off but Steiner gets a foot up and DiBiase's jaw goes right into it. Both men are down and begin stirring after a bit of gaining their composure. They both make it to their corners and Orton along with Kanyon are tagged in. They meet in the center exchanging right hands over and over. Kanyon seems to get the better of it and he nods for Mr. Anderson who gets into the ring. When he does Eric gets in the ring as well. A brawl between the four men ensues and when DiBiase and Steiner are up it becomes all six men going at it. The camera from overhead shows all the action as the fans cheer. Finally Eric lands a cross body sending him and Mr. Anderson out of the ring. DiBiase manages to throw Steiner out of the ring only to then be thrown out himself by Randy Orton. Orton turns back around and is caught in a Kanyon Cutter. Kanyon hooks the legs but McDermott gets up on the apron. He begins yelling at Kanyon who gets off the cover at the two count. Kanyon grabs McDermott by the suit making sure he can't go anywhere and clocks him. The crowd boos and Kanyon jaws at him for a few moments going so far as to spit over the top rope onto him. He turns around and Orton is there catching him with the RKO. Randy hooks the leg with all other men out of the ring and he gains the three count. The bell is sounded and the crowd goes berserk as McDermott is helped to his feet by some GWF employees. He sees the referee raising Orton's hand and he celebrates. He gets into the ring and raises the hand of Orton. Steiner and Eric get into the ring as well and all three celebrate as Kanyon rolls out of the ring. McDermott calls for a microphone and is given one.

Matt Murphy defended the World title against two superstars at SummerSlam 2012

Murphy runs at Bagwell and Bagwell hits Murphy with a hiptoss. Murphy is right back up and Bagwell goes for another hiptoss. Murphy blocks it by planting his feet. Murphy hits Bagwell with a stiff forearm to the face, then spins Bagwell into the corner. Murphy lifts Bagwell up onto the top turnbuckle. Murphy steps up onto the second turnbuckle but Bagwell punches him in the face. Bagwell steps off to one side of the top turnbuckle and Murphy jumps through the ropes on the opposite side of the turnbuckle. Bagwell turns on it and Murphy begins stepping up the turnbuckles. Both men reach the top, trading punches. Burchill gets to his feet and walks over. He quickly steps up the turnbuckles as Bagwell and Murphy are draped across each other to keep their balance. Burchill has one foot on the top rope on each side of the top turnbuckle as Murphy and Bagwell pull apart. Burchill suddenly grabs both men under their arms and then hits a Double Super C-4 off the top rope. All three men lay on the mat, clutching their arms in toward their ribs. After a few seconds, Burchill drapes an arm across Murphy, then shakes his head and turns to Bagwell. Burchill drapes an arm across Bagwell for the cover but Murphy turns and, half-stumbling to his feet, collapses across Burchill to break up the pin. Burchill stands, wobbly. He pulls Murphy up and then hits Murphy with a European uppercut. Then a chop across the chest. Then another. Burchill grabs Murphy and goes to throw him shoulder-first into the turnbuckle post between the middle and top turnbuckles but Murphy reverses it, spinning around and throwing Burchill's shoulder that was thrown into the stairs directly into the turnbuckle post. Burchill is stuck in the corner in this position. Murphy turns around and grabs Bagwell. Murphy sets Bagwell up for the Grips of Greatness and hits the double underhook suplex. Murphy rolls back through and has it locked on, but then quickly releases it. Murphy gets to his feet, his good hand to his bad shoulder. He says something to the referee about thinking he's hurt himself as Burchill pulls himself free from the corner. Burchill runs up behind Murphy and rolls him up with a schoolboy. Murphy kicks out just after the two count, then stands. Murphy and Burchill are about to tie up when Murphy and Burchill both use their good right arms to grab their opponent's bad left arms. Both men stare at each other for a moment, then suddenly give a rough tug on each other's injured arms. Both men release their grips and turn away in pain. The two spin around and then run at each other for clotheslines. Both men hit them and then collapse to the mat. After a few seconds, Buff Bagwell gets up to his feet, dazed. He looks down at the two men, then starts climbing toward the top turnbuckle. Burchill slowly drapes an arm across Murphy. The referee counts Murphy's shoulders down for two before Murphy suddenly kicks out, grabbing Burchill by the head and arms, locking in the Grips of Greatness. Bagwell is unsteady on the top rope as Burchill's foot hooks the bottom rope. The referee is calling for the break and Murphy finally releases the hold despite not needing to. Burchill is pushed off of him and falls through the ropes and to the outside. Hitting the ropes causes Bagwell to lose his balance and he falls, straddling the top rope. Murphy walks over and starts to climb up the turnbuckles. Bagwell shoves Murphy down. Murphy hits the mat hard and Bagwell is having balance issues on the top turnbuckle. Burchill grabs the World Title on the outside and Murphy starts to get to his feet in the ring. Bagwell is now perched atop the top turnbuckle, eyeing Murphy to turn around. Burchill slides into the ring as Murphy turns. Burchill takes a swing at Murphy with the World Title. Murphy ducks it and Burchill spins around, dropping the World Title, as Bagwell jumps off the top with the Buff Blockbuster. Buff hits it onto Burchill. Buff turns onto all fours, about to go for a pin, and Murphy quickly pulls him up. Murphy turns and quickly hits the BDT, seemingly unaware that he planted Bagwell's face onto the World Title. Murphy turns and dives across Burchill, covering him. The referee counts Burchill's shoulders down for the three count. The referee raises Murphy's hand into the air and then turns, grabbing the World Title. He hands it to Murphy, who holds it up in the air with one arm while simultaneously holding his opposite hand to that arm's shoulder. Murphy turns and rolls out of the ring. He backs up the ramp, holding the belt in the air to a mixed reaction.
