The IWE United Kingdom Championship is a professional wrestling championship created and promoted by the American professional wrestling promotion IWE for their NXT UK brand. Unveiled on December 15, 2016, it was first awarded to Tyler Bate, who won the inaugural IWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament on January 15, 2017. The current champion is Ilja Dragunov.
The championship is intended be the top championship of a U.K. based brand, with its show airing on IWE Network, but at present, the title is being defended on IWE's NXT brand, as well as at shows produced by independent wrestling promotions in the United Kingdom. It is the only active IWE championship to be defended outside of IWE, and the first since the IWF Light Heavyweight Championship, which was defended in multiple promotions from its 1981 creation until becoming IWF-exclusive in 1997.
