SuperBrawl will feature professional wrestling matches that involved wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds or storylines that play out on WIW's primary television programs, Rage and ShowDown. Wrestlers will portray heroes or villains as they follow a series of events that build tension and culminate in a wrestling match or series matches.

At World War, Martin McAlmond defeated Kyler Noel, Richard West-Eaton and Jeff Radke in a Fatal four way match to retain the WIW World Heavyweight Championship, later on in the night Daniel Mazurek won the World War Rumble match for a WIW World Heavyweight Championship shot at SuperBrawl. At Free Falling, Kevin McAlmond defeated Matt Borske and Chris LeGreca in a Triple threat match to be added to the WIW World Heavyweight Championship at the event.

On the February 23 episode of Rage, John Lehr challenged Rex Martin to a match at SuperBrawl with the stipulation being if Lehr wins, he gains half control of Rage, Martin accepted the challenge making it a Hell in a Cell match as well.

At Free Falling, Chris LaGreca had Kevin McAlmond in a Sharpshooter submission hold until Matt Borske attacked LeGreca with a steel chair, effectively costing him the match. On the February 23 episode of Rage, LeGreca attacked Borske outside the Helena Civic Center. Later that evening, LeGreca's wife Beatrice LaGreca issued a challenge on Chris' behalf to Borske at SuperBrawl for the MWA World Championship, Borkse returned to the show attacking LaGreca and challenged LaGreca to a Street Fight at the event for the title, which LaGreca accepted.

After Ashley Holshue defeated Brandi Cusker to retain the WIW Divas Championship, controversially at World War, Holshue was ambushed by Emily Marie. A rematch was made on the following episode of ShowDown ended in a no contest when Holshue attacked both Cusker and Marie, it was soon announced that Holshue would defend her title against both Cusker and Marie in a triple threat match at SuperBrawl, it was announced later that week that the match would be elimination.

On March 15, it was announced that third annual Brian McAlmond Memorial Battle Royal would take place at SuperBrawl. As per tradition, the winner will receive the Brian McAlmond Memorial Trophy.

On the March 15 episode of Rage, during a confrontation between former WIW Tag Team Champions The Hoopers (Matt Hooper and Josh Hooper) and former World Tag Team Champions The Erickson Brothers (Josh Erickson and Tyler Erickson), a match was announced between the two teams, however later that night Rex Martin announced that the match between the two teams would take place at a later date, making the match a Open elimination tag team match for a shot at the WIW Tag Team Championship, announcing that The Bad Boys (Bob Thennis and Chris Riley), The Nuss Crew (Zack Nuss and Josh Nuss), The Wilkins (Bo Wilkins and Jackson Wilkins)and Josiah Edigar and Darin Woehl would join the match as well.
