Background
Elimination Chamber features professional wrestling matches that involve different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds, plots, and storylines that played out on IWE's primary television programs. Wrestlers portrayed villains or heroes as they followed a series of events that built tension and culminated in a wrestling match or series of matches. All wrestlers are from IWE's Raw and SmackDown brands—a storyline division in which IWE employees are assigned to a television program of the same name.
The first match was announced on January 30, 2012 on IWE.com. The announcement stated the there will be a Raw Elimination Chamber match for the IWE Championship. In the match, Justin Eldridge will defend his championship against Nick Kessler, Khris Jericho, The Miz, B-Truth, and Jose Serrano. The second match was announced on February 2nd, 2012 that there will be a Smackdown Elimination Chamber match for the World Heavyweight Championship. In the match, Kody Brown will defend his championship against Kevin McAlmond, Mark Semmler, Daniel Gonzalez, Big Show, and The Great Khali. Originally, Steven Larson was a participant in the SmackDown Elimination Chamber, but he is removed from the contest and suspended indefinitely by SmackDown GM Theodore Long for threatening him.
