The 2014 Miami Dolphins season will be the franchise's upcoming 45th season in the National Football League, the 49th overall and the third under head coach Joe Philbin. The team will have a new general manager for the first time since 2007 after Jeff Ireland was fired on January 7, 2014.

On December 4, 2013, the NFL announced that the Dolphins will play the Oakland Raiders in the International Series at Wembley Stadium in London, England. The game will occur during Week 4 on Sunday, September 28, at 1:00 p.m. EDT (6:00 p.m. BST), and will be aired by CBS in the United States. The Raiders will be the designated home team for this game, and both teams will have their bye the following week.
