Background
WrestleMania VI will feature professional wrestling matches involving different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds, plots, and storylines that play out on WIW's television programs. Wrestlers will portray heels or faces as they followed a series of events that build tension, and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches.
On January 26, Matt Borske entered the Royal Rumble match when he attacked Jesse Dern and took his entrant number, Matt Borske had been eliminated but the referees on the outside of the ring did not see it due to a fight on the outside, Borske slide back into the ring and won the match to advance to WrestleMania. At the Diabolical Structure pay-per-view, Kevin McAlmond won the Elimination Chamber match to retain the WIW World Heavyweight Championship, the feud between McAlmond and Borske has dated back to 1999-2000 when Borske turned his back on McAlmond in a un-televised match.
Another main rivalry for the pay-per-view is a Five-on-five Elimination Tag team match match with Team WIW being lead and accompanied by the promotions owners (real-life brother and sister), Glennda McAlmond and Rex Martin facing off against Team MWA being lead and accompanied by the promotions new-owners John Lehr and Lynn Lehr, no participates have yet to be announced.
Another title match scheduled for the PPV is MWA's World Championship being defended for the first time at a WrestleMania as the current MWA World Champion Richard Munoz defending against Dustin Simpson.
On the March 12, 2014 episode of Dynasty The McAlmond family made the announcement that a Memorial Battle Royal will take place at the PPV with the winner being given the Brian McAlmond Memorial Trophy. Billy McAlmond, Kooper McAlmond, Rod McAlmond, Zack Nuss, Josh Nuss and Chris LeGreca has announced their participation in this match for the Trophy. On that same night it was announced by John Lehr with agreement from Rex Martin and Glennda McAlmond that International Champion James Burdick would defend against a new MWA superstar that would be later revealed as Jessi Aguilar when he attacked Burdick.
