WrestleMania VI will be the 30th annual WrestleMania professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by WIW, and will be held on April 6, 2014 at Metrapark Arena in Billings, Montana. The event, which will be the first WrestleMania in the Helena Civic Center, was announced on February 18, 2013, in a press conference hosted by WIW.

WrestleMania VI will feature professional wrestling matches involving different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds, plots, and storylines that play out on WIW's television programs. Wrestlers will portray heels or faces as they followed a series of events that build tension, and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches.

On January 26, Matt Borske entered the Royal Rumble match when he attacked Jesse Dern and took his entrant number, Matt Borske had been eliminated but the referees on the outside of the ring did not see it due to a fight on the outside, Borske slide back into the ring and won the match to advance to WrestleMania. At the Diabolical Structure pay-per-view, Kevin McAlmond won the Elimination Chamber match to retain the WIW World Heavyweight Championship, the feud between McAlmond and Borske has dated back to 1999-2000 when Borske turned his back on McAlmond in a un-televised match.

In March WIW and MWA made an agreement to defend there belts on each others shows and PPVs, on the March 5 episode of Dynasty Dustin Simpson challenged the MWA World Champion Richard Munoz for the MWA World Championship, John Lehr would come out and decline the challenge of Simpson, than Richard Munoz entered the ring and accepted the challenge from Simpson and shook hands with him, leading to Matt Borske and the rest of the The Lehr's Authority attacked both Simpson and Munoz, later on that night Simpson teamed with Munoz to defeated Ryan Borske and Tyler Erickson.

Another main rivalry for the pay-per-view is a Five-on-five Elimination Tag team match match with Team WIW being lead and accompanied by the promotions owners (real-life brother and sister), Glennda McAlmond and Rex Martin facing off against Team MWA being lead and accompanied by the promotions new-owners John Lehr and Lynn Lehr, On March 27 via MWA's webpage Lynn and John Lehr announced that Daniel Gonzalez would captian there team for the PPV and would be joined by new MWA Superstar, Kris McGowan. On March 30, 2014, Glennda "fired back" announcing via the WIW website that former WIW Tag Team Champions The Hooper Brothers (Matt and Josh) would be a part of Team WIW at the PPV. On April 4 Lynn Lehr announced that Jeremy Burrows, Caleb Evans and Brendan Moe would be the final three members for Team MWA, Glennda McAlmond announced Justin Eldridge and James Allred would join Team WIW, just leaving the "Team Captain" to be announced for Team WIW.

On the March 12, 2014 episode of Dynasty The McAlmond family made the announcement that a Memorial Battle Royal will take place at the PPV with the winner being given the Brian McAlmond Memorial Trophy. The following wrestlers were announced as participants: Ryan Borske, Josh Erickson vs. Steve Britz, Phil Branscum, Tom Brown, Ian Case, Billy McAlmond, Rick McAlmond, Jeremy Bryant, Shane Hunter, Beau Jackson, David Kottas, Jared Kuntz, Tim McAlmond, Justin Eldridge, Justin Feight, Justin Hensen, Travis Hottell, Jared Hunt, Colby Hurt, Devin Keller, Jared Keller, Joe Linderman, Taylor McCormack, Collin McCullough, Park McKinnon, it has been announced that the final four men in the battle royal will be from the MWA Roster.

On the March 22 episode of Turbo WIW Divas Champion Jacquelyn Simonson joined commentary during a tag team match between Lauren Nault and Brooke Slevin vs. Shaina Dargan and Allison Hunthausen and eventually insulted the Chairwomen of the company Glennda McAlmond. The following week on Dynasty Glennda McAlmond came to the ring after Simonson's championship match with Allison Hunthausen, which Haunthausen won by count-out, McAlmond wound announce a single-fall Invitational match for the Divas Championship at WrestleMania.

On the March 15 episode of Turbo James Burdick was attacked by an unknown attacker of MWA chairman John Lehr, who turned out to be new MWA superstar Jessi Aguilar, the following week Burdick challenged Aguilar to a match, Lehr would later put the title on the line with the agreement of the WIW and MWA, later that night Burdick would attack Aguilar while he was trying to leave the arena and slam a car door on his head.
