History
Inaugural championship tournament (2013)
The tournament bracket that will crown a first NGW Women's Champion, the tournament will begin on the the June 4, 2013. On May 23, 2013 at a WIW house show Avery Gold and Ashley had to win qualification matches to enter into the tournament.
On that same night (June 4) it was announced Ashley Holshue would face Meghan Dunnam in a first round match, Allyssia Bushnell would face Stacey Skuletich in a first round match, Avery Gold would face Vanessa Tholl in a first round match, and Rachelle Sparks would face Ashley in the final first round tournament. It was later announced and revealed that Avery Gold would be unable to compete due to injury after being attacked by Vanessa Tholl on the June 4, 2013 episode of NGW TV, it was later announced that former Divas Champion Bonnie Wright would take her spot.
