On the April 8 episode of Monday Night Raw, IWE announced a Superstar Shake-up for the April 15 and 16 episodes of Raw and SmackDown Live, respectively. For the 2017 and 2018 Superstar Shake-ups, instead of a traditional draft, the brands' commissioners and general managers made trades and deals between their respective rosters. However, following TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs in December 2018, The Matteson Family<!--Do not link to "Matteson family". This is referencing the on-screen authoritative unit, not the whole family lineage of the Mattesons.--> (Vince Matteson, Kaila Matteson, Shane Matteson, and Triple K) announced that they would be running both brands as a unit with no general managers, subsequently leaving them in charge of drafting decisions.

[edit] Background

On the April 8 episode of Monday Night Raw, IWE announced a Superstar Shake-up for the April 15 and 16 episodes of Raw and SmackDown Live, respectively. For the 2017 and 2018 Superstar Shake-ups, instead of a traditional draft, the brands' commissioners and general managers made trades and deals between their respective rosters. However, following TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs in December 2018, The Matteson Family (Vince Matteson, Kaila Matteson, Shane Matteson, and Triple K) announced that they would be running both brands as a unit with no general managers, subsequently leaving them in charge of drafting decisions.
