King of the Ring (2012) is an upcoming professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by GWF, which will take place on August 26, 2012 at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. It will be the fourteenth annual King of the Ring.

The main competition leading into King of the Ring is the King of the Ring tournament which is a yearly tournament held only the night of the King of the Ring event with sixteen participates will be in the tournament and the winner usually would get a GWF World Heavyweight Championship shot at the SummerSlam pay-per-view. There are currently no participates in the tournament as of yet.
One of the main feuds for King of the Ring is for the GWF Intercontinental Championship with current champion Triple H defends against new No. 1 Contender AJ Styles.
