IPON SUMMIT IV ITEM J - VOTING PROTOCOL

Passed (4 votes in favour)

The idea of this is to make it very clear how many votes are needed to pass any new protocols or decisions in IPON. The proposed wording is:

For an IPON vote to be passed and enacted or accepted into IPON Protocols, one of the following must occur:

(a) More than 50% of Active IPON Members must vote in favour of the proposal. Or if not enough members vote to achieve 50%, then

(b) More than 50% of Active IPON Members who voted within one week of the proposal being posted must vote in favour. If during an IPON Summit the Summit Chair wants to give longer than one week to vote this is acceptable provided that when the proposal is posted the time frame is clearly stated.
