After major success had evaded the !ng following two concept albums, the band decided that their new album would not follow continue along a similar path. An entire week was spent searching for samples before work began in the same studios as their previous albums. Pornographie Pour Les Oreilles was released to huge acclaim in both the ISM community and the non-ISM world, garnering 9.3 in ISM Weekly and increasing the fanbase by almost 100%.

- Get Ya Fucking Head DOWN! is an homage of sorts to You Can't Fucking Ninja Quite Like I Can Fucking Ninja by Mamareeko S. Bench.
- Whitbury Newtown Leisure Centre takes its name from 90s TV comedy, The Brittas Empire.
- The Shouty Cack is a parody of The Shouty Track by popular coffee-table blandsters, Lemon Jelly.
- The recording of Test the Waters (Before You Wet Yr Feet) included on the album is not the original version. The original song was over 2 minutes in length and heavily sampled The Girl In The Dirty Shirt by Oasis, however there was an error when reloading the track for mixing that caused the song to become a garbled mess. It is eactly the same length as the track just before it.
