Orpheous appears much as he does in this picture. When he uses any spirits or crazy junk to aid him, his irises change from their usual pitch black to a shade of silver. This includes when he is unlocking the Inkweaving power, which was sealed within him. He has untidy short black hair, and always seems to wear a smile. He is roughly 6 feet tall. His weight is slightly skinnier than the common man. He almost always wears his cloak, and Simon is pretty much always at his side. Nothing in body is out of proportion. He has a certain charm about him, and a lot of people can sense his kindness simply by the way he carries himself and how he looks.

PROLOGUE(the story of Inkheart as told by Wikipedia)(I wanted to make sure I got the facts straight)
The story of Inkheart, there is a story within a story: Mo originally brought four of Inkheart's characters to life (Italy) while reading aloud from a novel which is also called Inkheart - Basta, Capricorn, Dustfinger, and his pet marten, Gwin. Dustfinger, a fire eater, desperately wants to return to the world of the fictional novel; Capricorn, the villain of both the "real" and "imaginary" stories, wants Mo (and later, Meggie, who shares her father's unusual gift) to summon an evil monster, a creature forged from the ashes of the murdered known as the Shadow, from the fictional novel; and Basta is Capricorn's right-hand man.
On more than one level, Inkheart is a book about books and the love of reading. Meggie and Mo are both avid readers; Meggie has carried a box (made by her father) of her favorite books with her all of her life. But also, Inkheart references many other works of literature. In addition to the characters from the fictional novel Inkheart, Mo also brings to life a boy (named Farid) who belongs in The Book of One Thousand and One Nights, and makes gold appear from Treasure Island. Meggie's reading causes Tinkerbell from Peter Pan to appear, and she also conjures up the soldier from "The Steadfast Tin Soldier," a Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale, at the request of the Magpie, Capricorn's mother. Later, at the request of Fenoglio, she also solicits the soldier back.
Fenoglio, the writer of Inkheart, eventually reveals his intentions for asking Meggie to keep the tin soldier. Testing an idea Mo suggested earlier in the novel, he rewrites the original, sad ending of "The Steadfast Tin Soldier," then tells Meggie to read it aloud. The tin soldier returns to the book and has a happy ending. Before Capricorn forces Meggie to read the evil monster out of Inkheart, Meggie invokes the aid of the book's original author to rewrite Inkheart's ending so that the Shadow, instead of helping Capricorn with his evil plans (devouring Resa, Elinor and Basta), will destroy him. This plan succeeds. Meggie reads this new ending aloud, the book's author disappears into his own creation, and Capricorn falls dead.
His true tale began: In Inkspell, a year has passed since Meggie discovered her ability of reading aloud like her father. Dustfinger has located a megalomaniac calling himself "Orpheus". Orpheus reads him back into the Inkworld, but keeps Farid on purpose. Then it is revealed that Orpheus has been working for Mortola, and Basta tries to kill Farid. He is stopped by a beast Orpheus read out to take the place of Dustfinger and flees to Elinor's, where Capricorn's old enemies are staying. He persuades Meggie to read him and herself into the book to warn Dustfinger that Basta is back.
Mortola, Orpheus, and Basta arrive soon after. Orpheus reads Mo, Resa (she actually was read in by accident), Mortola, and Basta into the book. Then Orpheus locks Elinor and Darius up in the basement. In the book, Mortola shoots Mo and nearly kills him. Resa regains her voice and Nettle, the renowned healer, helps heal Mo.
Meanwhile, Meggie has found Fenoglio, Dustfinger has found Roxane, and Farid has found Dustfinger. Fenoglio explains that he made up a series of songs about the Bluejay, a noble robber who torments the Adderhead, an evil ruler of the book. Dustfinger finds out his family has changed greatly.
The Motley Folk bring Resa and Mo to their Secret Camp. The Black Prince alloys the players' fears. Resa sends Cloud-Dancer to Meggie with a message about Mo. Unfortunately, the Laughing Prince, the last major opposition to the Adderhead, dies and Basta finds Cloud-Dancer, killing him just before he can deliver. Fenoglio finds the message and writes in an attempt to save Mo. Meggie reads it out loud. Fenoglio explains that he used Mo as a model for the Bluejay, which is why the Motley Folk were dubious about helping him - fear of retribution from the Adderhead. In a desperate move to turn the story around, Fenoglio writes of Cosimo, the dead prince that fought the Adderhead, returning. Meggie reads it, and the Adderhead's men are driven from Ombra. Cosimo quickly prepares for war on the Adderhead. At the same time this happens, Farid reveals that he is in love with Meggie, and kisses her.
Capricorn's surviving fireraisers have joined the Adderhead and lead a brutal raid on the Secret Camp, capturing the Black Prince, Mo, Resa, and the rest of the Strolling Players. However, Dustfinger leads Farid and Meggie to the camp shortly after and they follow Firefox. They free the Black Prince and find out that Mo is still alive. Next, they go to a mill in the Adderhead's land to receive a message. There, however, Basta is waiting, having intercepted the letter. There is a brief fight, a large fire, and everyone survives, with Dustfinger and co. getting away to the Barn Owl, a physician who watched Dustfinger as a child. Farid has been burned and Dustfinger slashed on his thigh. Fenoglio, though, is following Cosimo's army of peasants. The Adderhead's troops massacre every one of them, including Cosimo, except for a mere dozen who flee. Fenoglio runs and hides. The Black Prince, when he finds him, expresses disgust and says "you seem to enjoy playing with death, Inkweaver." Meggie gets a letter from Fenoglio, carried by Roxane and begins to read it aloud. Unfortunately, she is captured by the Adder's men before she finishes.
Dustfinger and Farid make themselves invisible by mixing fire with water (and a little magic) to infiltrate Castle Adder. They soon find Resa and Meggie then Meggie tells the Adderhead that Mo, her father, can save him from death - he'll bind a book to hold it. The Adderhead agrees. Mo is sent to the library to make the book. He does so well and quickly. The Adderhead proves it works by testing it on Firefox, writing the words needed to kill Firefox (heart, spell, and death), and had Firefox's name scraped out. He then let his prisoners go. The prisoners meet with Dustfinger's small group but are quickly attacked by Capricorn's old men. Despite Dustfinger's best efforts, Basta's knife finishes Farid. Dustfinger brings Meggie Farid's body, and she weeps helplessly while Dustfinger kneels and mourns for the son he never had. Mo runs Basta through, ending him at last. The battle is won with few fatalities.
After the battle, Farid is laid to rest and Dustfinger uses his fire to call the White Women. He trades himself for Farid, who returns just as Dustfinger dies. Dustfinger wrote Roxane's name in the wall before the White Women came and took his life. Roxane was heartbroken that her lover that she thought was dead, is now dead for good which made Roxane even more bitter towards Farid. Meggie, on the other hand, was estatic that her lover was now alive.
Fenoglio writes to bring Orpheus in so he can write Dustfinger back, but Roxane is skeptical and blames Farid for Dustfinger's death. The book ends with Farid's vow to bring back Dustfinger.

When he arrived in Hyrule, he came with his dear friend Bou. Bou scouted the land, looking for any good places to stay. Meanwhile, Orpheous drifted into the village of Galfin. He spoke to the mayor about living there for a bit, and the mayor, Allic, had no problem (Bou had found a job as a Hylian Knight, and was thus able to use the barracks). Everybody found him a little odd, as he actually had books that were bound, which were really expensive. Not only did he have a huge collection of bounded books, but he also spoke very little common language. Seeing as how one of the towns orphans, Simon Grendel, couldn't start a busy until he had studied under a mentor, Orpheous took him in and befriended him. Simon was one of the first people Orpheous told about his complex past.
He soon found out that Simon's parents were killed by the village's old ruler, who was a dictator. His name was Roronek. It turns out he once controlled a small portion of Hyrule, making Galfin his base of operations. He was finally met with a military force, and even though he could've won the battles, he decided to flee to escape any casualties. Orpheous found that Simon's hatred was righteous hatred(Orpheous is a Christian now), and he decided he didn't have a problem with it.
A few months later, the two left the small village, and stayed in the castle area for a bit. There he met Mark "Ryan" Stewart and Phil Tyler, who was Bou's friend. He even took an ex-thief under his wing, Stephan. When Orpheous created a camp a little to the south of Tantari Desert, Simon and Stephan came with him. Bou, Phil, and even Ryan would occasionally stop by for a visit. One time, when Bou was over, the four were kidnapped by bandits. These bandits turned out to be servants of Roronek.
A rescue group saved the four from the cave, and an effort was made to warn the people that Roronek was back, in a matter of a few weeks, Roronek reared his ugly head, and he was commanding a small army. Orpheous and co., as well as a few soldiers supplied to them by the government, had a few battles with Roronek, before Roronek was killed. However, the Roronek was a fake. The true Roronek was overseas, helping his master rule over Montagomey. Meanwhile, during the battles, Orpheous meets an attractive young woman who is the last of her kind, Silna.
Orpheous gathered his group (now consisting of Valentine, Bingo Harvey Shiznets, Anti Jr., Snowflake, Bou, Ryan, Silna, Thealter, Phil, Simon, Stephan, and Gregory) and spawned a boat using his inkmagic. The group sailed to Montagomey, where they then began to free it. Once their job was complete, they sailed back, and soon after they returned, a land bridge was developed between the now free Montagomey and Hyrule. It was a serious of below water caves that water couldn't get into. They ran through through a strip of small under sea mountains.
The group then formed the PFH, which was a group dedicated to ending any evil intentions. Orpheous was the leader of this organization. They worked in conjunction with the Hyrule Militia, a group of civilians who were kinda like a localized army.
The PFH dealt with many a threat in their day, some personal some wide-spread. After they dealt with the Masters of Destruction and a highly skilled warrior named Vilk, Orpheous' good name became smeared. He decided to help Leth in his quest to free Drommlin. Then, he proved that there was somebody out there ruining his name, Anti-Orpheous. His reputation was regained, and he signed up for the tournament. To warm up, he fought his new friend, Kasei, and Orph was defeated. Later in the tournament, he faced Kasei and won. The day before he fought Kasei though, Silna, who he had developed somewhat of a crush of on, became his girl-friend. She had come forward and stated her love. Of course, once she confessed, he did too. There relationship was made public when they kissed each other on the lips after the fight as Orpheous was stepping out of arena, despite the fact that nobody seemed to notice.
Currently, Orpheous is in the cave, fighting against Gohma so South Hyrule can be reached. (Will update when needed)
