A Fortress System of the Terran Sphere, the Shangdong system is home to 4th Battlefleet and 85 Million people. Its only habitable world, Qingdao, is home to a large space elevator, which is used to load and unload the many freigters that frequent the fortress world. As such, Qingdao serves as the supply depot for many worlds and stations in the Inner Ridge, including Wulfram Station.

Army Group Shangdong System is also currently home to the 1337th Garrison Division of the Freikorps Marines.
