Personal History
Very little is publically known about Colonel-General Inuit's past, only that she comes from a wealthy family, and that Inuit Goddess isn't her real name. She has taken these guise of her own accord because her real identity would easily get her killed if it were known. When she found the Freikorps on Terra and was recruited by Zeth Holt, that was the name she gave. A few of her higher ups have tried to get her real name out of her, but she refuses to give it. Only recently has she actually told Zeth himself who she actually is, as is recorded in the Shards of Empire Role Play.
As for the true story...
Sara-Erytheia (though her parents always referred to her as Erytheia), or Inuit as she is now called, was born on the planet of New Octobergad in the year 2225, to the Emperor and Empress of Antares, their second child. Her younger sister, Noel, was born 6 years later. She had an older sister, Sara, *rest of paragraph censored to emit spoilers for future RPs*
Sara-Erytheia was raised as the Crown Princess, with sword, archery, strategy, and other various lessons. She also took singing and dancing and sewing lessons, but Inuit never really cared about that. But besides the sewing, Sara (as she will be referred to here on out) had a nice childhood. Her parents and her sister loved her, she had plenty of friends, along with all sorts of material things. So she was happy.
But behind her wall of happiness, darkness lurked. Her kingdom and the Terran Alliance were at war. There were negotiations carried out by her father and Caius Leonis, but they failed miserably. Sara only saw Caius once, as he was leaving the palace for the last time. She’d been playing up in a tree outside, and had watched him as he left. Before he went through the gate, he’d turned and looked around. He may or may not have seen her, she doesn’t know.
When her father was killed, Empress Nephaelae, Sara’s mother, and Sara left the planet. Noel left with a nursemaid. Sara hasn’t seen her sister since. Soon after, the planet of New Octobergad was glassed, and that was when Sara knew she would never return. She and her mother escaped to Terra, and lived there a long time. It was only a few months before Sara’s 34th birthday when her mother contracted a disease that Sara had never seen before. But it didn’t seem too bad, just unknown. So, Sara brought Nephaelae to hospital. When Sara found out that her mother had passed away, she was suspicious, and ran away again.
On her journey, Sara took on the name of Inuit Goddess, a strange name for sure, but one that she liked. With it she began a new life. First, she found work as a waitress at a diner in the city of Trale. That was how she met John. He was a great guy, who worked alongside Inuit as a waiter. Both had led rough lives and wanted to start over. So they helped each other, became friends, and eventually fell in love. It seemed like a whole new world to Inuit. Like her past was a burden that had fallen from her shoulders, leaving her free to fly into the future. But, as you’ve probably guessed, this happiness didn’t last long. John was killed by a mugger who’d jumped the two as they walked home from work one night. Inuit, who always kept a gun on her person, (a pistol her father had once owned) shot the man as he tried to flee. John died in her arms.
And so Inuit began again. She left Trale only 6 months after entering it. Again, she wandered, looking for work, honing her skills with a weapon and her athletic skills in general as she did so. It wasn’t long before she discovered the Freikorps. They were recruiting, and Inuit jumped at the chance for work. Her skill with her pistol were what got her in, more so than her physical capabilities. Before she entered the actual Freikorps, she was placed with the Opposition during the Freiheit Exercise, then was admitted as a Colonel under Zeth Holt.
To this day nobody knows who she is. Inuit knows that if her identity is revealed, she will most likely die very, very quickly. Especially if Cata finds out. He was the one who lead the forces that invaded her planet in the first place. But she doesn’t want her title. In her mind, that is far behind her now, a different person separate from who she is now. So she lives a normal life within the Freikorps, fighting, learning, and dealing with Cata’s continuous jabs about her and Zeth.
The Freiheit Exercise
Main Article: Freiheit Exercise
The Freiheit Exercise was Inuit's first encounter with the Freikorps. She was on the side of the Opposition for the exercise, in charge of a small group. She and her men managed to comandeer several Freikorps tanks, but after the EMP burst many "died," and the captured tanks were rendered useless. Inuit herself managed to survive until the end of the exercise. After, she was admitted to the Freikorps as a Colonel under Zeth's command.
The Stahlhelm Exercise
Main Article: Stahlhelm Exercise
During the Stahlhelm Rebellion, Inuit sided with Zeth and followed the Stahlhelm before even being told that it was a hoax.
Acheivements
Inuit Goddess's acheivements have been mostly in combat. Her most notable being her clever thinking at the beginning of the Stahlhelm Exercise. She single handedly defeated Cataphrak in at least one confrontation by exploiting something as small as a typing error to her advantage, resulting in the Fleet Admiral glassing the wrong planet. She also performed amazingly well in the Stahlhelm Final Campaign, where she once again kept Cataphrak on his toes in a one-on-one duel.
