This is a free wiki for the Marvelous Entertainment game, Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility. It was created for easier help when playing ToT; due to the nature of the Harvest Moon games, one long walk-through is very seldom efficient.

Sources

gamefaqs.com, specifically, DetroitDJ's guides, are the biggest source for all the information here. He has graciously let us transcribe it into this wiki format.

Some information has been looked up on the Japanese ToT Wiki, although this was limited due to differences in the North American localization.

Finally, a lot of the character preferences were researched by individuals. That means, yes, noting every single reaction for every single item that we happened to give to a character in-game. :)
