Flax is one of the 43 crops available to grow in Harvest Moon. The sales prices and stamina recovery are listed as decent/good/perfect/shining.
NOTE: Unlike other crops, flax is not edible and cannot be used to cook. Instead, you use the yarn maker in your animal barn to convert it into flax yarn. Additionally, this is one of the few crops available only through Taylor's Seeds. And finally, you will need flax yarn (and thus, flax) to upgrade your rucksack.
