Fake shots in the firing range

From the game Perfect Dark for the Nintendo 64.

In the Firing Range, select the Laptop Gun and Deploy it in any direction. While it's folding up, pause and abort. Before it deploys, pause again and select another weapon on any medal difficulty and start. The gun should deploy after the start and begin shooting at the targets. The shots don't count against accuracy or ammo and will usually help you succeed in the challenge.
