ProfessorTomoe is the online persona of a person who lives in Garland, Texas. A few people online know who he really is. Others just know him as "the Professor with the shadowy face," or the guy whose marshmallows you should eat with extreme caution.

ProfessorTomoe (a.k.a. "the Professor") got his start on Fark.com and in the alt.binaries.multimedia.sailor-moon newsgroup. While he can still be found on Fark and in the It's Walky!/Shortpacked forums, he posts mainly in the EGS and EGS Mayhem forums nowadays. He has a tendency to contribute goofy one-liners, the occasional Hare-Brained Prediction, massively brain-damaging puns, and lots and lots of EGS-related avatars and fanart. The Professor also RPs under the ProfessorTomoe name. That character is based upon Professor Tomoe from the third season of the anime series Bishojo Senshi Sailor Moon ("Sailor Moon S"), but with a slightly different backstory (online character bio here). The RP ProfessorTomoe is nowhere near as evil as the original anime character, but he is just about as crazy.

The Professor currently runs the Waffle House #4741 RP, playing the characters of Vern (as the GM) and Dora.

The Seconding!

The Professor is also responsible for unleashing an unspeakable horror upon the EGS forum known as The Seconding!. This began with a post in an EGS forum thread. It grew to become what some call a major irritant and what others call just plain weird. Songs have been written about it (well, one song anyway), and the Professor has built up an irregular comic strip based on it, using scenes from El Goonish Shive. It even spawned a short-lived EGS Mayhem game.
