Drayco was born to a simple mother and father in a fishing village on a small island, the father an engineer and blacksmith, the mother a master fisher(wo)man. Lived a quiet life learning how to make explosives and swords and how to sail a ship, and lived a quiet life by and on the sea until he turned 10.
 +
On his 10th birthday exactly, his brother Roan was born. It as a happy occasion, and Drayco immediately took a liking to his younger brother, as he considered the fact that their birthdays were on the same day of the year to be fate. They became fast friends, and until Roan turned 8, they still lived a peaceful life, Roan never far behing the older brother he idolized. Roan never had the interest in explosives or weaponry, however, but picked up other hobbies from some of the local sin the village, among them tailoring and lockpicking.
 +
 +
Some months after Drayco's and Roan's 18th and 8th birthday respectively, however, a massive hurricane ravaged the island while Drayco and Roan were exploring some of the caves beneath the island. The majority of the people in the village were spared, but the village itself was mostly destroyed, and the rising waters trapped the two in the underground cavern for almost three days. However, their mother had been out at sea at the time of the storm, and she was killed when her boat was smashed against a rocky cliffside. Their father, having thought them lost as well as his love, was so overcome by grief that he threw himself off a cliff onto the same rocks that his wife was slain on, killing himself as well.
 +
 +
When the cave filled up with water, Roan became trapped in a small rocky area the two were looking for treasure in. By the time Drayco managed to force his way into the smaller area (having to severely injure himself in the process), Roan had gone unconscious from near-drowning, and only barely survived.
 +
Drayco and Roan finally returned to the village at sunset on the third day with the injured and hungry Roan riding on his slightly less injured but equally hungry brother's back, only hours after their father had killed himself. Due to the sudden combination of the two events, Roan has developed a great fear of the sea, and will not willingly set foot onto any ship unless directly accompanied by his brother.
 +
Regardless of what they'd just been through, the villagers believed them responsible for calling the storm by snooping around the forbidden caverns below the island. They decided as a town that the two would be forced to leave the island and presumably never return, but the elder was merciful enough to allow them to leave on one of the better sailing ships the island had that survived the storm, as well as with enough supplies for them to get by for a short while. That ship is the one they still pilot to this day (though it's been broken, repaired, and modified many times since then), now called the Zaraka Zephyr.
 +
They've been living on their own as off-and-on pirates since then, though they've never been outright extreme about it, often stealing just enough to get. They've still managed to rack up a fair mark on their heads, as well as an enemy or two. Oddly enough, some of those enemies are even other pirates, as on at least one occasion they've beaten and turned in said pirates for the bounty, despite having bounties on their heads themselves. The Zaraka Brothers are normally seen with the whole range of interest, from some who admire their noble acts, to the other end with all the people cursing the wake their silver-streaked ship leaves behind it.

Main Canon / Multipurpose

MKRP

The Moogle

Name: (The) Artmoogle. Generally answers to any nicknames made out of that as well. Race: Formerly human, currently an anthromoogle. Height: 4'2"

Appearance: Uhhh... Like this T-shirt and color of pants vary, but more or less that.

Personality: Lazy, but fun and has a fairly short attention span. Likes playing video games, drawing, and eating... and the occasional tormenting of his muse.

Powers: He's a version of a Reality Mage, which basically gives him the ability to create anything he can think up by snapping his fingers. Usually involves blue smoke/clouds. Also tends to have a flair for the flashy. Can also do various other things with his powers, including teleportation (think bamf), transforming his body, and alteration of any inanimate object. He can transform other people as well, only if they are willing to be affected. The exception is Drayco, whom he can change the form of even while not the current physical form. It should be noted that he's a bit of a pacifist, and will never willingly harm other people. However, if he's in danger, Drayco usually takes over if they actually run into serious danger.

Also, he has the secondary issue of having his main "muse" as an entirely separate personality who shares his body. Meaning they have mental conversations, and they can also switch forms. However, the switching of forms is not always willing, and they do tend to argue a bit... or a lot He can, however, will Drayco into an entirely separate body of his own when they become too intolerable of each other.

The "Muse"

Name: Drayco Runir Race: Half-fire dragon, 1/4 human, 1/4 elf Height: 6'2"

Appearance: Like this

Personality: He is the more courageous half of the pair, and tends to be the role of "badass hero". He hates when the Artmoogle screws with his form against his will, but in the end it's all in good fun, though there may be beatings and thrown fireballs inbetween.

Powers: Pyromancy (control of fire, but not the ability to spontaneously create it), as well as all of the standard powers he gets from being a half dragon - breathing fire and sleeping gas, increased strength, enhanced senses, darkvision. Can sprout his wings when needed as well. Carries a weapon in his pouch that has various uses. In its normal state, it resembles a very large sword hilt (~2'6" long) with navy blue wrapping, as if of a double-bladed sword (small crossguards on each end), but has no blades. It has three forms: - Handle separates at the center pommel-like section, and blades form out of the crossguards to form into two katanas. - 180° twist first, then separate the two handles, and it will instead form into a nunchaku with short 5-inch blades on the ends. The chain is made of the same blue-tinted metal that the blades and crossguard are made of. (Maxi in Soul Calibur has a weapon or two that are like this) - Handle can simply be pulled out to extend into a 6' staff, though the crossguards shrink and become more like metal tips.

Bleach RP

Name: Shinka Drayco

Rank: Vice-Captain, 9th Division

Height: 6'4"

Appearance: Drayco wears something loosely based on the standard outfit of a vice captain. The chest portion of his outfit is a red version of the normal vice-captain's garb, but the sleeves taper off about an inch or so past the shoulder. The lower portion of the uniform is replaced with wide-legged Hakama-style pants, in the normal black color of Shinigami clothing. He also desn't wear socks with his sandals, and wears red-and-black armguards on both arms. His blond hair stands up towards the front and right, and is always tied back with a red headband. His eyes are the color of blue flame, matching the tassel of his sword.

In combat, Drayco has incredible skill with both swordsmanship and Kidou, though his swordsmanship is the better of the two. He hasn't yet mastered Shunpo (flash-step), but he's still able to move fast enough that most can't keep up with him. He is quite fast enough to react to Shunpo attacks, though, just not fast enough to entirely do it himself.

He tends to come off as somewhat rude to most people, but the few who know him better know that he is a surprisingly caring person. He is willing to do whatever is necessary to uphold his duty as a Vice-captain, and as a protector of all members of Soul Society.

Zanpakuto: Drayco's Zanpakuto's name is Shugoryuu (Guardian Dragon). In its sealed form, it looks like a normal katana, albeit the blade is about twice as broad as a normal katana. The hilt is brassy-gold in color, and has a predominantly square shaped crossgaurd, bearing a dragon design circling the blade. The crossguard curves downward slightly in both the front and back of the hilt. A solid metal ring adorns the bottom of the hilt. The hilt's wrapping is the color of blue flame, and it comes off the bottom after tying onto the ring as a ribbonlike tassel, about a foot and a half long. Drayco also notes that his Zanpakuto looks exactly like the sword he wielded while he was alive, which oddly enough he also called Shugoryuu.

Drayco knows how to release Shikai, but his sword does not allow him to use it unless it is absolutely necessary. Its activation phrase is "Tsubasawoharu" ("Spread your Wings"), which prompts one of the most visible Shikai out there. He holds his sword out in front with both hands, and speaks the phrase. Instantly, translucent ghostly draconic wings formed out of his reiatsu sprout from his back, and spread around him. When they open up again, they reveal the drastic change in his sword (which for the sake of brevity, I'm just going to describe by saying "look at the picture"). The "wings" are merely for show, though they do move as if they were flapping. His Shikai grants him the ability to jump to ridiculous hights, as well as increasing the distance of his flash-steps and greatly increasing his offensive strength, both in physical combat and use of Kidou. He can also hover at any height, and in any position. The wings' true power lies in that Drayco can command Shugoryuu to use the wings to stop any incoming attack, as well as holding the attacker's weapon in place in tthe case of physical attacks. Drayco can also launch off blue-flame colored blasts of explosive reiatsu, which Drayco calls "Ryuu Buresu" (Dragon Breath).

He can't yet access Bankai. On the other hand, he can summon his avatar (and has been able to for some time), so many think he's close to it. He, on the other hand, has never bothered trying to reach Bankai. This is mostly because he knows that Shugoryuu wouldn't let him do it anyway, since he hardly lets him even use Shikai.

His sword's summoned form is a silvery dragon with eyes of blue flame (like Drayco, except solid-colored), and most notably, huge wings. Drayco has been known to often have conversations with it, however these tend to have him visibly standing there blankly for some amount of time. He has been known to actually summon his avatar for various reasons. One of them is to express images, as the avatar form can transform itself into anything Drayco thinks of. Shugoryuu has a very "wise man" type of personality, often offering advice on whether or not Drayco's current choices of action are good or not. It also wishes him to be the best warrior he can be, without relying on the powers that it grants to him (hence the "No Shikai for you!").

Background: Only recently appointed to the position of Lt. Captain of the 9th Division (he's only been there for 5 years or so now), he got there by showing immense talent in combat, as well as excellent leadership skills. He was chosen specifically by the 9th Captain for his position. He is well-known among Seiretei as an excellent combatant, and most attribute that to his brief time in the 11th Division. Before becoming a Shinigami, not much was known about Drayco. He lived in feudal era japan in the 1800's, and was a swordsman by training. He lived with his brother in a villiage out in the country. He died when he went over a waterfall onto sharp rocks while trying to save his brother (he saved his brother, but couldn't save himself). He lived as a spirit tied to his brother for some time afterwards, but was eventually given Konsoh by a passing Shinigami after he attempeted to defend his brother from a Hollow that had come after him (technically both of them - his brother was highly spirit-sensetive, and Drayco -was- a spirit). Drayco posed a mystery to Soul Society when he first arrived, as he carried with him to the afterlife the sword he was buried with, Shugoryuu. It was not a Zanpakuto at this point, but the Shinigami who performed his Konsoh noted that the sword did have a very faint spiritual presence, even before he was even given Konsoh. He was given the choice to become a Shinigami as soon as he arrived, but he at first declined. He stayed in Rukongai for several decades, wishing to wait until his brother passed on so that he could see him again. He lived a quiet and uneventful life for fifty-something years, during which time he did odd jobs around the District he lived in. At that point, he knew his brother must have passed on by now, and set off to look for him. Fifty years later, and he never found him. He decided that he had to take a new approach, and decided to see if he could accept the offer from Seiretei from before. Long story short, he ended up in the academy. His sword never visibly changed, so Drayco only knew that his weapon had gained Zanpakuto status when one day, it spoke to him. They have been best friends since, Shugoryuu often acting as Drayco's mentor, despite only being a portion of Drayco's soul himself. When he graduated from the Academy, he joined the 11th Division, under Kenpachi Zaraki, and served there as the 7th Seat for a few years. During that time, Yachiru seemed to take a liking to him, possibly because he was the only other person in the Division besides Kenpachi himself who wasn't annoyed by Yachiru's nature. He also made the mistake to give her candy as a present once, when she helped him out with his training by giving him some of "Ken-chan's advice." He was, however, soon chosen out-of-the-blue by Shousei Shidan to be his Vice-captain, after his former Vice-captain was killed while trying to put down a sudden Hollow attack in the Mortal world. He immediately agreed to the promotion, though he was sorry to leave the 11th Division. He has been a Vice-captain under Shidan since then.

Celtar 2.0

Moperville 2.0

Name: Drayco Lowell Race: Human Age: 17 Height: 6'2 Gender: Male Place of birth: Wouldn't you like to know

Appearance: Looks like an average teenager, albeit on the athletic side. He wears a red hoodie sweatshirt with the sleeves cut off just past the elbow. He has a pair of black open-fingered gloves that he wears most of the time as well. He wears gray or khaki cargo pants, and always wears Birkenstock-style sandals. He has blond hair, which is loose yet naturally spiky-ish, falling a bit towards his right. He has short bangs in front, which hang over the red headband that he always wears.

He's a very social guy, though he doesn't have any close friends. He lives with his foster parents, neither of whom pay a great deal of attention to him.

Abilities: Drayco is quite agile and alert for someone his age, as well as extremely athletic. He doesn't train in any fighting style or play any competetive sports either. Some things to note, however. His most unusual trait is that he lacks fingerprints on his fingers. They simply lack a pattern. In addition, he is freakishly tolerant of temperatures, and so far he always seems to wear the same shortsleeved sweatshirt and sandals no matter what temperature it is outside. In addition, his tongue is just long enough that he can touch the tip of his nose with it. Some find this disturbing, he doesn't understand why... though he has used it for the purpose of freaking people out on at least one occasion.

Weaknesses: Among other things, Drayco seems to have one of the shortest attention spans ever. Some say he's just very curious, others take this as being somewhat paranoid, a few say he's on some sort of drugs.

Secret Bio:

Race: Greater Chimera (DNA includes Lespuko, Gecko, Flying Lizard, Basilisk Lizard. No actual Human DNA.) Hybrid Form Pic

Abilities: Natural regeneration, improved metabolism, advanced agility, increased strength in legs, prehenstile tail, resistance to temperature

Other Information: More backstory than I care to write up. X_X

Rising Moon

Name: Sutarousha Drayco

Nickname: "Hakatana" (Sword-teeth)

Height: 6'4"

Age: He'd like to know too

Race: Half-dragon (Ranmyakuryuu)

Appearance: He bears the standard look one would expect of a half-dragon, pupilless blue eyes, and scales on the visible areas of his upper arms and legs, and his feet are decidedly draconic, having only four clawed toes and a fifth claw behind his heel. His hair is blond and restrained only by a red headband that he always wers. The headband has a blue flame design embroidered into the ends. His outfit looks like it was once a samurai's warrior-robe, but it's unique at this point. The red top part has been cut off roughly a little past the shoulder, and the ends of the dark gray hakama have been frayed severely from wear. He wears cherry-wood geta sandals with a plate of what is apparently diamond between the base and teeth of the sandals to reinforce it. He wears two identical katana, one on a sheath across his back, the second on the back of his belt. The katana are for the most part unadorned, but they both have blue wrapping on the handle and a stylized dragon and flame design etched in silver along the length of the cherry-wood sheaths.

Personality: A man who lives outside the law, and to some outside reality. He gained the nickname "Hakatana" from a phrase that came to be associated with him once he told it to a number of the emperor's guard, after they attempted to bring him in on later proven false charges of murder some many years ago: "I seek to wield as many weapons as I have teeth." By trade, he is a mercenary, bounty hunter, assassin, and all-around vagrant. His goal in life is to be just what that phrase implies - to be the master of as many styles and weapons as he can. He only accepts jobs against reputable warriors, ones who he wishes to learn the ways of. As such, he's rarely actually completed any of these jobs, but luckily for him he has the tendency to require full payment up front. This trend has earned him many enemies around the country.

But mostly all that is known about him is the nickname and the two katana he wields, which gained the equally amusing nickname of "Kiba Hakatana" ("Fangs of Sword-teeth"). He has been known to wield them more than any other weapon, and they are the only weapons he always carries with him. His other styles are used when those weapons become available to him by wherever he happens to run into combat. He has been known for the use of other weapons in some other rumors about him, ranging from a Zanbatou to a Bo staff a weapon resembling a Kusari-gama.

It is also that he teaches what he knows to any who wish to learn from him, but there is an equally well-known rumor that there aren't any living people who claim to be his students.

Thunderchild RP

Name: Drayco Rykael

Age: 24 (or racial equivalent thereof)

Race: Lynxkin (Wildcatkin)

Height: 6' 8"

Gender: Male

Rank/Occupation: Bounty Hunter

Appearance: Color pic here

He's tall, and has an athletic build, but not bulky. The physique you would expect of a martial artist. He usually wears a red leather short-sleeved jacket that he has lined with bulletproof material, and generally wears gray or khaki cargo pants that have far more pockets than they should. He often wears an armored t-shirt under the jacket, which is usually white or light gray (no, really, they do have armored t-shirts). He usually wears a pair of leather sandals, but occasionally wears boots. His hair is golden, almost brassy blond, while his body fur is a lighter shade. He always wears a red headband. His eyes are blue flame colored. At any time, he always carrying his two "Fangs" - .44 automatic handguns modified with laser sights and redesigned to have carbon-steel 3-foot swords attached to them, so they function like a gunblade of sorts except they're still usable as guns.

Backstory: Originally from Felina, he grew up having a passion for tinkering with explosives and other weapons, as well as swordplay. He lost his parents at about age 16 when pirates raided the ship they were traveling on in order to move to a colony in outer space. He managed to escape the pirates, and stowed away on their ship. They soon had to dock at a spaceport for supplies, where Drayco snuck off the ship. Before he left, though, he stole several of their weapons, as well as rigged a small detonator to set off and open their cargo hold's bay doors once they got out into space (he would have just blown the whole thing up, but he couldn't find enough explosives). Needless to say, they were very pissed off.

After that, he joined up with some other teenagers who lived as thieves on the spaceport, and spent a couple years with them. Despite his skill and access to weapons, he never actually killed anyone during those years, just stole food and the occasional other trinkets or money. A year or two later, the group of thieves found themselves wanting more than what they were doing. One of them had caught wind of a smuggling ring that was operating out of the spaceport, and they agreed that would be a good place to steal some nice prizes from. The plan actually went very well, until they got caught in the home stretch. The group were forced to fight the pirates, outnumbered and outgunned. In a daring effort, Drayco split off from the group to go after the pirates' captain, and hold him hostage until the rest of his friends got to safety. He managed to sneak up on the captain, until the captain pulled a sword on him. He dodged away, and in the brief, violent battle that ensued, Drayco managed to outmaneuver and outmuscle the human captain. However, by that time, he was too late - the pirates had cornered and killed his friends. Drayco also noticed one other thing. The man was the same pirate who led the raid on his shuttle years before, when his parents died. Drayco lost it, and before the captain could call his lackeys, finished him off with his own sword. He then stole the pirates' ship, and left the spaceport.

Since then, he's been a bounty hunter. He recently signed on with the Thunderchild as a weapons and demolitions specialist, and all-around tough guy. He signed on for the most part because on his latest mission, his ship was damaged beyond repair, and he's currently in the low-income bracket (i.e. broke, aside from all his toys). As such, he's settled to working with a team again. For now.

HHFO: Sapphire Garden

Name: Drayco Rykytail

Race: Dragonblooded Anthro-Wildcat

Height: 6' 2"

Age: currently unknown

Appearance: He's well-built, but a more athletic build for speed than he is bulky. His body fur is tawny blonde over most of his body, with the exception of a stripe down his back that's golden-blonde like his hair. The end of his tail and the tips of his ears also have tufts that match his hair. He has bright blue eyes, though they're pupilless. He wears a red bandana and a matching sleeveless lightweight vest that has many pockets, and no shirt underneath. He wears baggy dark gray mid-calf pants that have an equally large number of pockets, and the closest to shoes he gets is that he has leatherlike foot-wraps on his feet. His feet are slightly double-jointed, and he can walk normally or digitigrade at any time. He also wears a small mithral ring set with an unusual bluish gem at the tip of his tail below the tuft. He considers that his most prized posession, and will not tolerate anyone so much as touching it without permission.

Personality: Self-proclaimed "Master Treasure Hunter", and he is willing to fight to defend that title. He is quite confident in his own abilities, however, perhaps a bit overconfident. He has his own slightly odd moral code, but he won't tolerate others picking on those weaker than them. Aside from that, he's very easygoing and would rather enjoy life than be constantly fighting. Though he's not averse to the occasional fight to keep his skills sharp. He also has a streak for immense curiosity in things he hasn't seen, as well as a notably short attention span.

Powers/Abilities: Aside from natural agility and above-average strength and resilience, he's also partially fire-resistant and has heightened senses. Also, due to a minor implication with certain magicks, the retractable claws in his fingers have been restructured into mithral, keeping a razor-sharp edge. He has trained as a treasure hunter for most of his life, and he has both the theiflike skills and supply of treasure to prove it, the latter of which is kept in an extradimensional 'hoard.' He's also a Sorceror of notable skill, but the majority of his magic seems to be in the areas of Telekinesis and Illusions, though he has learned the ability to 'charge' magical energies from his weapons for greater effect. He wields a pair of gunblade-like weapons, which function both as blades and as weapons that fire magical energy based on what type of energy crystal is in them at the time. The crystals are about the size of marbles, and he normally carries ones of various types and elements, though each gun can only hold one at a time. He also carries an extendable staff that can also break apart into a nunchaku-like weapon, though those are his backup weapons, and the staff tends to be more often used as a tool than a weapon.
