A lump o' rock that, while planetesque, isn't large enough to be considered planet. Also a category for somewhat big space rocks created by astronomers with nothing better to do. The only reason the IAU left the word planet in the name for this category at all was because a bunch of sentimental people wouldn't let them say Pluto isn't a planet. Expect them to quietly rename this term when no one is watching.
