CG-X is the result of the Enclave's research into the X-Parasite. Using CivGeneral's discarded equipment, they were able to gather DNA of CivGeneral. With no threats of metroids around (Samus's actions in the Post-DYOS world), The Enclave managed to get their hands on a last batch of X-Parasites from SR388 before it's destruction from the Combine Empire. However, The Enclave only has a limited batch
The Combine sees CG-X, along with SA-X, as prayers to there hopes to cripple and defeat CivGeneral if they fail to convince the real CivGeneral on joining their ranks.
CG-X possess the same talent as CivGeneral. However, the Karma scale is reversed. Meaning that CG-X is the evil doppelgänger of CivGeneral.
