During her brief stay in the company she wrestled on the development territory DXX Rated and briefly Massacre. She had also competed in FCW (Florida Championship Wrestling) and WWE SmackDown. She was also part of the WWE Diva Search alongside her sister.

Towards the end of the year DXX Rated saw the return of Brie Bella to the ring, this time she was not with her sister, nor did she ever make an appareance during her sisters short stint. Bella took part in a match against Massacre's Maria who wanted to train on the brand so she could have a versatile role on Monday Nights, Maria picked up the win in this clean competition, but both Divas were later attacked by Amazing Kong. A week later Brie was in action again, Maria however was put out of action and advised not to step in the ring, therefore Bella teamed with rising star , Daisy Vacariu, the two lost to the monster again. It appeared Bella was injured after this second attack.

Massacre

Her only other appearance following Rated was a battle royale to find a new contender for the DXX Womens Championship, Brie was eliminated pretty early on in the match which was later won by Jazz. This was her last appearance in DXX.
