Steve Evans is a Play-By-Play commentator, currently working for DXX on it's developmental brand DXX Rated alongside Vinnie Vice.
In late August, the Board of Directors announced that OVW would return to DXX under a new name, up until it's doors were officially opened, details of the commentators were kept quiet, although some staff members names were given. He and Vice are the first ever commentators of the show.
Upon Rated's debut show on 24 September in hsi home state of New York, Evans was remarked as one of few Play-By-Play's with a sense of personality and intelligence, he favours Shane Trent over Sylvan Grenier out of the Rated General Managers, this often causes him to fall out with Vinnie Vice. Evans is a face and depsises cheaters when it comes to the ring. He describes himself as 'loyal, hardowrking and dedicated' as well as 'charming', Evans is also to play a role in DXX.com.
Unlike hsi co-worker, Steve does not have a gimmick, nor is he professionally trained i nthe ring. Evans has however acted as correspondant to many sports shows across American television.
