Ti-Lung was a water dragon residing in a village well in the far past, acting as the village guardian. Beloved by his village, they lived harmoniously until the arrival of a wandering stranger. Three days after the individual left, Ti-Lung became sick and worse, the plague he was infected with spreading to the villagers. Unable to cure the dragon, the village mystics created a spell trapping the village and Ti-Lung within a time tear. Using a gourd to hold the spell, the village was self contained beyond time and space, hoping someone would someday be able to free their beloved guardian from the illness he was suffering from and spreading to the villagers. The gourd made its way to the Asian Cultural Museum where Dewei and Vivian accidentally became ensnared by the spell. Both the mage and the spirit eventually managed to free Ti-Lung from the plague of Yutai, pulling the plague demon forward in time. Ti-Lung and the village returned to their rightful time and place, though their fate is unknown at this time.
