Ilune
From Demiurge Games
Ilune, Moon's Reflecting Mirror was a spirit that was in ages past a goddess to the native fae of the area. A dual aspect spirit, she represents the Moon and the waters upon which it reflects. Before recorded history, the spirit and her followers fought with a parasitic bane, driving it out over the Puget Sound and wounding it savagely. The bane entangled the goddess within it's body and dove down into the depths, feeding off the captive spirit while it hibernated and healed. Ilune was trapped, and the pain at having her essence consumed overwhelmed her, leaving her comatose within the clutches of the beast. Her followers could do nothing, the beast had gone to far and they were not strong enough, so they could do nothing but lament the loss of their queen. Eons later Ilune would be freed and healed after an exhibit of glamour roused the bane from its slumber. Drawn by the power gathered at Pier 70, the bane was defeated by Brian Spencer, Julia Hardgrave, Jarrod Ng, The Coven, and the assorted fae of the Emerald City Court and she was released. Soon the nocker would complete a quest and retrieve three of her keystone items, waking her from the coma she had fallen into from the attack. She stays close to Pier 70, protecting the area from outside influence and using the glamour and power to gird herself against the ages of change and 'progress' that threaten to warp her without it.
