Dave, Braden was the priest of Hieronius who faught with Adlar and Corwin in my interdimensional campaign. Darkainian was dead by then- it was Aydrian (the half dragon), Fiona (the vampiress) and Cromwell who were the principal enemies. Also, none of them served with Jonus, who was my first character before Ian (who served with Cromwell)

Maybe you are getting him mixed up with Robert the Druid, who was a crazy bad-ass motherfucker, and definetely somewhat evil
