Seymour "Cloak" Tiddlywinks, is a Gnome rogue that left his family and clan as a youngling with the promis of bringing back great treasures from the big cities. What he did not realize was that his charm would not be enough to make this happen. He found himself quickly trampled by the big world of the tall ones, and found very few of his own kind of go to for assitence. So his ideas and goals changed slightly. Instead of trying to rent out a room in a lodge, he would sneak into a orphanage at night, cover himself in tattered clothes and sleep as one of the parentless children. He would spend his days in dark corners of bars and shops, eating food that people were too drunk to miss, or steal trinkets to small to be missed. He became an adept Jewlery theif and worked the shops so well that some store owners would move across town swearing that their district was haunted. he develloped many scams that played to his strengths, his charm and cunning. For example, he would steal rich families dogs, bring them to a smaller town and sell them as either riding dogs or loyal pets for other rich families (sometimes he would even sell new dogs to the families he stole from). These scams were the embodyment of his new way of looking at the world: no one was going to help him, so he'll help himself. The one problem Cloak has always had is he is not very strong, even for gnomes, that and he is not good at seeing possible danger, so he finds himself in over his head more often then not.
