- 26th - Waddon Ponds: Peregrine overhead at two diffent times mobbed by crows, 6+ Goldfinch seen collecting nesting matriel, 2 Grey Heron seen overhead, Male & Female Gadwall X still present, 3 Greenfinch, House Sparrow, Some Canada Geese has started to lay, Little Grebe, Adult Summer Herring Gull, (Ernie Thomason).
- 26th - South Norwood CP: 08.26 1 Common Swift (my earliest ever and I couldn't make it Alpine or Pallid despite the recent influx!) present for at least 15 minutes, 6 Chiffchaffs, 2 singing Willow Warblers, pair of Kestrels, pair of Sparrowhawks (female harrased by Ring-necked Parakeets), at least one pair of Stock Doves, 1 Snipe, 1 Little Grebe, Long-tailed Tits with nest material, 2 Green Woodpeckers calling, Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming,, pair Shoveler, 2 Cormorants. Not a bad hour before heading into work and I had already had a Peregrine eating breakfast and a Grey Wagtail elsewhere in Croydon. Sadly I didn't find the Tawny Owlet that has apparently been around for at least a couple of days. (JB)

- 2nd - Croft Road: Owl heard in distance approx 21.30 hrs
- 2nd - Lloyd Park: A Firecrest (my first ever at this site) at the edge of the wood about 100m south of the tin shelter this am. Also 2 Common Gull, 6 Stock Dove, 12 R-r Parakeet, 4 Green & 9 G-s Woodpeckers, 30 Redwing, 4 Coal Tit and 3 Bullfinch in a total of 30 species. (John Parish)
