You run, but Nikki doesn't

"Run," you shout. You turn and head for safety, toward the camp and the lights in the cabins you will find there. You run until you reach the far end of the camp. Only then do you turn and look back in the direction you came from. That's when you realize Nikki is not with you.
Unsure of what to do, you look around, hoping maybe she just ran in a slightly different direction. That's when you hear a scream, followed by the sounds of unintelligible speech, followed by another scream -- then silence.
You run back to where you left Nikki, hoping against hope that she will somehow turn out to be okay.
When you reach her, you realize your hopes were in vain. Her killer is obviously a very powerful man; he swung his machete so hard, he sliced her body in two from her crotch to halfway between her breasts. There is obviously nothing you can do for her.
Panting, you fall to you knees next to her body and puke.
