You encounter Chris
From Create Your Own Story
When you finish retching, you hear another scream. Then you hear a loud, sickening sound -- like a large blade slicing through flesh and bone.
You race towards the sounds. When you get there a long moment later, you find Andrew -- cleaved in half.
A shadow slips from behind a nearby tree. You whirl, only to find the trembling figure of Chris. She grabs you and clings onto you tightly.
"I... I could only watch," she whispers. "There was nothing I could do. I hid behind a tree and hoped he didn't see me as well."
You pull her tightly against you and ease back into the trees. A skeletal figure lies on the ground. As you get closer, you realize it is in fact a skeleton. The bony fingers are still clamped around a large axe.
You pick up the axe, needing both hands to swing it [though you can carry it in one], and examine the blade. Sharp enough, you decide.
A hulking figure hefting a machete looms up about 20 feet away. The terrified Chris slips behind you, shaking.
