You step forward, hefting your axe in both hands. The masked slasher growls and readies his machete.

You both swing at the same time. CLANG! The ringing sound of metal striking metal reverberates through the trees. Your blow is so forceful with the heavy axe it causes the maniac to stagger backwards from the impact. He doesn't lose his grip on his weapon, but for just an instant he's off-balance and his weapon is out of place.

You seize your chance. Before he can recover, your axe swings in a mighty arc, cleaving his head in half down the center. He staggers backwards and falls to the ground, dead before his body strikes the turf.

Chris tentatively emerges from hiding. "Is he...?"

You pick up the machete the maniac was using and with a vicious blow, pierce it through his already-stopped heart. "That'll make sure of him."

Chris pulls you against her and gives you a tentative but passionate kiss on the lips. "My hero."

With the maniac disposed of, you spend the rest of your time at the camp introducing Chris to the pleasures of sex. She's a quick and willing learner, and you two remain a couple for life.
