You rejoin the others. There weren't any severe injuries among your elite guards. They attacked the werewolves from behind and slaughtered them with little difficulty. The mercenaries, on the other hand, have 7 heavily injured, 5 dead and 9 with minor injuries. Only the leader and 2 others are uninjured. While they're happy about the victory, several mercenaries are frightened. They're panicking about the possibility of those bitten by a werewolf turning into one.
You've had a few skirmishes with werewolves in the past, so you can calm them down a little. "Most people bitten by a werewolf walk away just fine. Light injuries like those probably won't be a problem. The heavily injured may need to be guarded for the next three days. If they haven't shown any symptoms by that time they'll be okay". The men calm down slightly now they know the odds. They cast nervous glances towards the 7 heavily injured mercs though.
The traders are all fine since you stopped the werewolf attack, and they thank you profusely, forcing you to accept a generous reward for your valiant help (+200 gold). You don't bother to complain since they're obviously wealthy enough to give this sum away without missing it much. Besides, it might be useful later on.

Camp here for three days to make sure the injured are properly cared for and guarded
Tell them to restrain the wounded for three days and continue to Lord Ruairi's mansion|
