"Hello?" Lindsay answers.
"Hey Linds. I'm... I'm kind of in a little bit of trouble. Just a little." You say.
"What kind of trouble? Hey where are you by the way? I went down to your office a little while ago and they said you weren't there."
"I've been arrested for embezzling."
"What the fuck?! What the hell do you mean Miranda?!" Lindsay shouts in your ear and you break down into tears as you tell her the story. It feels good to get it all off your chest. Almost as if you were meant to tell her.
"Then when I tried to explain the situation to them they wouldn't listen!" You say finally to the silence on the other end. "Linds? Lindsay?! Are you there? You've got to help me!"
"Shut up I'm thinking. Okay where are you now?"
"I'm still at the police station."
"What about the money where is it?"
"It's still in my account, but they've frozen it by now." You say. Why is she asking about the money? You're in prison for Christ's sake!
"Okay you need to keep your mouth shut. I'll send my lawyer to get you. Don't say a thing until he gets there all right?"
"Oh my God thank you Linds! I don't know how I'm ever going to repay you." You say, but Lindsay doesn't answer as she hangs up the phone. You sigh in relief as you are led back towards a holding cell. For the first time since yesterday you feel like everything is going to be all right. You just need to keep you mouth shut and wait for Lindsay's lawyer, but you really need to pee. Should you ask to go to the bathroom? Or should you just keep your mouth shut and hope that this doesn't take too long?
