"I found something," you say.
"Oh? You did?"
"Yes. A plastic bracelet."
"Excellent. Please give it to me and return the clothes to the thief."
"You don't want me to check if she has hidden more stuff?"
"Oh, no no no. I told you it was a matter of principle. It was not about the value of the goods. The consequences will be the same."
Disappointed, you hand the bracelet over to the man and her clothes to Helen. The security guy thanks you for your assistance and issues a coupon for the three star restaurant on board for you and your family. Looks like it really was a matter of principle; the coupon is worth fifty times the bracelet.
