From Create Your Own Story
It is already bright day when you awake. It takes a moment to realize where the hell you are and why. Immediately you start to worry about your children and hope they are all right. You look left and right (port and starboard according to the liner's crew), but there is no other lifeboat or raft in sight. On the horizon, you can see an island covered in mist.
A groan distracts you. It was Cate. She has her back turned to you, her shirt slid up to her armpits. From the movements of her elbows you assume she is manipulating her breasts. She groans again and then lets out a long sigh.
"Finally," you can hear her say. She wipes her front and rearranges her shirt. "Hey Jules. It wasn't a dream, wasn't it? We're actually sitting in this bloody raft."
"Unfortunately. What was that just now?"
"Hmm? Oh, that. A surplus of breast milk, since I can't feed and I also don't have my pump handy. Not that we'd have a socket here."
"Are you all right?"
"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. I don't have much problems with galactostasis, mostly I'm just overflowing. Only occasionally I have to stroke my breasts to get the milk out, but luckily I don't have other symptoms that come so often with galactostasis."
"How long have you been awake?" you ask.
"About half an hour. My boobs woke me up."
"It took you half an hour to get relief?" you ask.
"So? It's not like I had other things to do." She turns away, and you can see her shoulders tremble. You put your arms around her and mumble reassuring things in her ear to comfort her. When Cate has calmed herself, the island has gotten noticeably closer.
"Look," Cate say snuffling. "She points to a branch floating in the water. "There is a strong current. And we are headed right into it."
Soon, her words turn out to be accurate. The raft speeds up after reaching the current. Where is the current taking the raft?
