A hand that isn't your appears at your crotch and slaps it. The sharp pain eradicates your fighting spirit. You writhe to ease the pain, letting go of Kirsten. She wriggles out under you and uses your distraction to push you over the side. You fall on the ground, adding to your pain. You grunt loud enough to attract Julianne's attention. She knocks on the bedroom door and asks you if everything is okay. You're unable to answer, but Kirsten yells that she just kicked your ass. You can hear your mother grumble as she leaves; understandably she doesn't seem to be delighted that her son and her daughter aren't able to settle their disputes like normal people. It's good that Julianne didn't stick her head in - who knows what she might have thought if she had seen the ruffled bed and you holding your groin.
"First kicked your ass, then saved your ass," Kirsten says. The mocking tone in her voice is the icing on your defeat. You close your eyes until you can stand up again.
