The cab drive is trickier than you expected. The driver intends to make pace. Instead of going at a regular speed, he speeds up whenever there are even ten meters to gain and seems to break at the last moment, changing lanes back and forth. His road rage not only tosses you sideways; since your mum is holding your torso tight, the sudden accelerations and stops let your butt slide back and forth on Julianne's thigh.
What is it with dresses that they never slide down to the point where they were before they slid up? After several backs and forths, your dress has ridden up so high that you no longer sit on it. You pull the upper side of the dress back down a little, but if you intended to do the same with the underside, your mum surely would notice. That would be awkward, maybe it would suffice to get a hold somewhere to stop you going back and forth.
