The surge of waves against a coast wakes you up. The wind must have freshened considerably during the night. Waves several meters high throw the boat around like a cockleshell. Before you can react, a particularly high wave throws the boat on its back. You are projected in the water.
Now it is you who is thrown about by the raw power of the water, and you have to struggle a lot to keep your head above the surface long enough to breathe. You don't know how you manage to do it. At some point you crawl onto the beach, only half conscious and barely alive.
You come to right around noon, lying face down on the beach. You spit out a load of sand and look around. From what you can see, you are stranded on an island. Some fifty meters to your left, someone else is lying on the beach. Who is it?
