The parking lot, large as it is, is full to the brim. Luckily, Julianne manages to find a spot somewhere in the middle. You disembark the car quietly and wait for your mother to get some bags from the trunk. "We need groceries, and I want to look for a - for some clothes."
"Uh huh," you say. You see her consulting her mobile. Wow, the age of the internet - even small town malls have websites with floor plans.
Julianne says: "Looks like the supermarkets are on a different story than the clothes shops. So where to go first?" You still feel guilty - you could suggest you split up to get some space, or you could use the opportunity to make for what you did.
