You are roused from a deep sleep by a splitting headache, soon followed by an aching throat. You are vaguely aware of people around you. After a while you manage to get your eyes open and almost get a heart-attack seeing Duran's face right in front of your nose. You yelp something along the lines of "molester" and push him off of you.
The people around you laugh heartily and you feel a little better, that shock sure as hell woke you up but it didn't do any good for your headache. "Where am I" you ask, your voice is raspy and it hurts to form the words. Everyone tries to comfort you at the same time making a hellish racket and driving you insane with the headache. Mercifully, you soon pass out again.
Next time you open your eyes you feel a lot better, it's quiet and there are no molesters around. The vision focuses and you observe the room you're in. It looks quite fancy, but it isn't half as bad as most nobles' interior decorations. you take a breath and try to move your body. It feels sore and especially your throat is still painful, but you get up with little trouble.
Taking a look down at your body, you notice you're dressed in a nightgown and several parts of your body are wrapped in bandages. You remember how you got those wounds and get a little embarrassed at your antics during the fight earlier, but you quickly shake it off. It worked so it's fine, besides nobody but you and those wolves saw.
You get to your feet, a little unsteady. You realize this must be Lord Ruairi's estate you guess, there aren't any other nobles of significance living in this remote region and you were most of the way there when you ran into the wolves. You suddenly remember that werewolf-inflicted wounds can infect you with their curse and panic a bit, but most of the wounds seem pretty shallow so you calm down a bit. No way this would be enough to turn you into some cursed creature right?
You look around the room and spot a few dresses nearby, you don't recognize them so they must be provided for you by this Lord Ruairi. It might be a good idea to get dressed, but since your body still hurts all over, it might be challenging to dress yourself and your throat hurts too much to call for a maid.
