Rather than defending yourself, you step forward and stab the charging beast. It is impaled on your sword by the force of its own charge. Quickly, you turn and push the beast's corpse towards its comrade to stop it from attacking you while you withdraw your sword. It's taken by surprise and the beast falls down under the weight of its comrade's corpse. You move in quickly and pierce its skull with your blade while its lying helpless on the ground.
Thinking yourself victorious, you step away from the two corpses and look at the traders to check the damage. They look panicked and yell something at you but you have no time to make out what they're saying as a sharp pain runs through your back, followed by a bone-crushing impact as a fourth werewolf rams its body into yours. You are thrown forward like a rag doll, blood gushing out of a large wound in your back. Everything goes black as your head connects with a tree.
By the time you regain your senses, you look up to see the biggest werewolf you've ever seen towering over you, a wolfish grin on its face. In the distance you can hear victory cheers from back where the others were fighting.
